James' point of view
"We can't, Liv's a minor." I tell him stating the obvious. He gives me a look to show me that he already figured that out.
"Don't that have 16 and older clubs in this place?" Connor asks us, there is, I just don't think Olivia should be going to such places.
"yeah there is, we went to one when Con was just a baby!" Tris screams, remembering what we did before 'fame'.
"Do you want to?" I ask Livi who had been extremely quiet during this ride, probably just thinking about all the pain she's in from mother nature. We shouldn't force her to go, but I don't think that's going to stop them.
"I-um, sure?" Liv says looking quite confused to say the least.
"Guys, if you hadn't noticed, it's Tuesday." I remind them, no one goes clubbing on a Tuesday, it's just not normal.
"Who cares? We've got nothing better to do." Brad informs me, as true as that was, I'm still not sold on the idea.
"Yeah! Come on James, lighten up!" Tristan shouts slapping my shoulder as he does so. I look to Olivia for conformation, she was just starring to space at the nothingness of the roads around us. We had arrived seconds later and decided that we'd have to wait for Maya, dad, Emily and Jenny to get back anyway so that we could tell them where we were going, as the had left their phones at the house, well Dad didn't but I'm sure it's dead by now.
Liv had ran of to her room, Brad and Tris were raiding my kitchen, and I was heading up to go and put the scar cream on my 'self-harm' scars fro Livi.
"James?" Con asks, just as I started squeezing the mixture on to my fingers. Oh God, this isn't going to end well.
"Connor it's not what it looks li-" I start, but got interrupted but Connor.
"Why? why did you do it?" he asks me, obviously extremely confused,
"I didn't, I had stupidly told Liv that if she was ever wanting to cut, to come and get me and do it to me. I wouldn't do this to myself mate!" I tell him, I didn't want to blame Olivia for this, I was the one who told her to do this, she didn't want to.
"If you say so. How's Livia doing anyway? how horrible is it getting? Have you bother to stop?" he fired questions at me. I wasn't sure how to answer them, I figured honesty would do best.
"She's not doing good, but she's getting better. It's extremely bad, she's covered her arms, thighs, stomach, all of it. I'm trying, but sadly no." I answer all of his quick-fired questions, I hate myself for not helping her more, but it really is a lot to put a 20 year old guy through.
"My God. Poor Livi, I had no idea." Connor whispers looking at the ground. I didn't know what to tell him, so I just left it. Con walked back out and I finished lathering the cream in the three cuts in my wrist created by one of the strongest girls I know, no matter how many people think she is weak, I know the truth. Tristan and Brad came in noisily, so I had enough time to hide the stuff and put one the sweat band I bought myself before they saw anything.
"Aye Mate, you ready?" Brad asks, looking at my outfit. I hadn't changed out of the clothes I wore to the girls' dance recital, but it seemed like fine clubbing attire. Just a plain T-shirt, dark skinny jeans, and random boots.
"Yeah, let's go." I mumbled and smiled at them. They looked so happy but they didn't have a reason to be. I guess they also didn't have a reason to not be, but still, it was weird. I heard Emily's shower start running so I knew they had come home, I'm not sure if Jenny came here or went back to her house though.
"Is Livi ready? Someone go get her." Brad ordered, if he wanted her that bad, couldn't he just go and get her himself? Tris went over to her room and Brad and I went downstairs to wait for them with Connor.
"Are we leaving?" Olivia's beautiful voice asked from the bottom stair. She was wearing slightly tight black jeans, a
greyish-blackish hoodie,a red T-shirt under it, and her white converse. not what any other girl would wear out to a club, but I don't think Liv would wear anything else.
"Yeah, let's go!" Connor beamed up to her, he was utterly in love and everyone but she could see it. Tristan lightly laughed at him, earning himself death glares, and we were off. I took a photo for Instagram of the boys and I, but I made sure you couldn't see Olivia. I'm starting to think I'm being too protective, but that's just how I am towards Livi, nothing was changing it.
Once we got to the club, we just walked in, they didn't even ask for identification, granted we all look well over the needed age of sixteen, but still.
"Oh God there's loads of people in here. Livi will you be okay?" Connor asks worriedly, I was just going to ask the same thing. The dance floor was filled with drunk-looking teens, but the booths didn't seem to have as many people in them. So naturally that's where Liv and I headed.
"Yeah I'll be fine. You lot go have your fun." She exclaimed with a huge -and fake- smile on her face. Brad and Tris ran off to do whatever they do, but Con and I stayed with Liv, it was obvious that she didn't want to be here, and in all honesty I didn't really want either of us there. The song changed and 'Can We Dance' started playing, I still couldn't get use to having our songs known, and actually getting used, it's surreal.
"So Livi what did you do when you went back to Somerset?" Connor interrogates her, she looks a bit confused before answering.
"It was fine, I guess, the kids are incredibly mean and I don't do anything but work, but that's how my life always is." she tells us looking so sad I just wanted to cry with her. But she doesn't stay sad long, she instantly straightens up and turns the conversation to us.
"And you! How was L.A.? I hear it's beautiful!" she gushes.
"Yeah It's amazing! It's really nice, but I missed you too much to enjoy it." I soppily tell her, it was true for the most part, but I did really love that trip.
"James! I was in Somerset, you wouldn't have seen me anyways!" she tells me whilst giggling. Her sweet little giggle, sometimes I swear she's nine, you know, laughing, being carried to bed, being moody, but nine and normal is better than seventeen and depressed, so she can act however she wants, I don't even care.
"True, true, but I could have called you." the time change sucks, I could only talk to my dad once, and Emily was already asleep by then so I wasn't even able to talk to her. I hated that aspect, but I love my life too much to even notice most of the time.
"You don't, or well didn't, have my number." she informs me, wait, do I even have her number now? I forget, I think I do from when she called me the day before yesterday, but I don't know if I saved it.
"I could have asked my dad." I tell her, but our conversation got cut off by Tristan and Bradley coming over to us, very drunk.
"Hey pretty girl. Want to dance?" Tris asked putting his hands on Livi's hips, pulling her into him.
"Woah, woah. Not happening man. That's your best mates little sister. Don't touch her." Brad tells him off equally as drunk. Hence why his sentences didn't exactly go together.
"Olivia? Girl you looked so fine I didn't recognize you." Tristan tells her. Connor steps in and pulls him back. Livi turns to me and on instinct I wrap her in a hug, I don't know what drunk Tris is able to do, and I don't want to find out.***We had an awesome time either way, Brad hooked up with some girl, Tris didn't do anything too horrible, but that was about it. Nothing interesting happened in the 4 hours that we were there.
So here we are, well Tris, Con, Liv and I are, Brad's with that girl, at my dad's house watchin a film. Jenny went home and Emily was asleep. I'm not too sure what Maya and Dad are doing but i'm too scared to go check.
"I'm going to go up to bed. Night guys." Livi announces whilst getting up. Connor stands too, I don't know why though, he just kind of stood there watching her.
"Gah she's so pretty." Davy tells us, I wasn't aware Davy and Connor shared a crush on the same girl. Little bit of drama between personalities is there?
"I know, she's gorgeous, but why are you thinking about that now?" I question him, Joe did tell us that Con and Liv couldn't be a thing, or at least he told me that.
"No reason, but um guys? I-I think I'm in love. With Olivia." Connor stutters. Tristan just looks confused, but I'm all smiles, Livi deserves the best and Connor is pretty close to it, and I know him well enough to ruin his life if he breaks her heart, so I'm fine with it.
"That's great, but you realize you'd have to ask her out and all." Tris tells him worriedly, Con just gave him a cheeky grin and we made our ways to where we'd be sleeping.
