Olivia's point of view

"We can't go to Nando's for breakfast silly!" I exclaim, making her face drop.

"Why?" she asked innocently, well I suppose we could have Nando's for breakfast, but we'd probably have to go in later as I'm not sure which time they open.

DING DONGAs soon as Lacie heard the bell she ran towards it. Once she got to the door, she didn't open it, nice manners.

I pulled open the door to reveal Jenny's younger brother, Terrance was it?

"Oh, um, I was hoping Emily would open. My mum's baking a cake but we've run out of eggs, could I possibly borrow one?" he questioned looking incredibly shy.

"Yeah sure, come on in, I'll get you one." my people skills are improving if you hadn't noticed. He walked in and we went off to the kitchen as Lacie interrogated him.

"What's your name?"

"Terrance Oliver McNaughten"

"How old are you? Where are you from?"

"11. Chester." (a/n I forgot how old I said he was, and if I said where Jenny is from, sorry)

"Okay, here's the egg, need anything else?" I ask, handing him an egg.

"No, that's it. Thanks!" he shouts as he walks out the front.

"I'm bored." Lacie informs me crossing her arms over her chest.

"You know what Lacie? So am I. What do you want to do?" I tell her as I sit back on the couch.

"Is there a park near here?" she asks sweetly, forgetting all about Nando's.

"Um, yes, I think so. Would you like to go?"

"Yes please." she giggles and bounces once into the sofa.

I start tidying us both up, I put on dark jeans and a grey sweat shirt, and put Lacie into purple striped leggings with a pink coat over a cute white and pink T-shirt. I grab a hair tie and brush to pull her sweet strawberry blonde curls into a ponytail.

"Ready to go?" she asks smiling, her lisp shining through once again.

"Ready to go." I tell her grabbing her little hand. The walk to the park was quite long, it took us about 3o minutes, but that's okay as we don't have anything planned so we should fill as much time as possible.

When we got there Lacie was all smiles, I pulled out my phone and took pictures of every little thing that made this perfect. How she skipped around the hopscotch court, how she giggled uncontrollably going down the swirly slide. It was a genuinely great day until this happened.

"Ahh OLIVIA!!!!!" I heard Lacie scream from the swings. I got up and ran over to her before anything else was able to happen.

"Lacie, Lacie what's happened?" I ask panting from the sprint to her and the worry mixing in my head.

"He pwsoohed me." she cries, pointing to a boy smrking giddily. I avoid her lisp and turn my attention to the boy.

"Did you push her?" I ask him, making sure I have the story right.

"No." he says emotionless. he just continues his smirking, and Lacie glares.

"I find that really hard to believe, but if you were here the entire time, can you tell me how this happened?" I ask, investigating his lying abilities.

"she's quite clumsy, she fell off the play structure herself." he states smiling. Lacie looks up at me with tears in her eyes.

"He's lying! He pushed me! I didn't fall!"she yells just as an ugly, thin, woman who looks like she belongs behind a desk in a library comes up to behind the boy.

"I'm sorry, is there a problem here involving My sweet Kyre?"

"Yes, actually, it seems he's pushed Lacie off the play structure. Making her fall 3 metres." I tell he, as I stand up and pull Lacie to her feet.

'Listen here you ugly piece of emo scum, My son is a good kid who'd never do anything of the sort. now if you and that whiny twat could go home to your b!tchy family it'd be greatly appreciated." she announces, making me want to cry, but I don't, I'm stronger than her.

"Excuse me! Lacie is seven, she does not  need to hear such horrible things. I wasn't looking for anything other than an apology, but I can see I won't be getting anything of the sort if you've been training your hideous son to act the way you act. We have just as much right to be here as you, you ugly  soul!" I confirm, in my boldest voice. The woman starts walking away mumbling something about the 'damn Americans'

"For your information, I'm Canadian!" I scream, get it right! I don't sound American in the slightest, and any Canadian or American would know that straight off the bat!

I tug on Lacie's hand and we start walking home,

"Livi, what's an 'ee-mwo'?" she asks just as we get onto the pavement to head back to the house.

"Nothing yuo need to know." I tell her picking up my pace.

About 7 minutes into the walk home Lacie gets really tired so I offer to carry her the rest of the way home, before I know it she's asleep with her head on my shoulder. once I get back home I place her on the couch and make myself a mug of hot chocolate to ward up from the cold park, it was freezing considering that it's May.
