Olivia's point of view
In case you were wondering, tight tops are the most annoying thing ever.
"Hey, did they tell you what's going on?" Connor questions me as James and Tris rush around getting things ready.
"No, you?" I ask back just as we hear a car horn.
"Okay, guys, leave!" Tristan yelled pointing to the door. He ever so rudely shoves us out the door, but it was all on good fun, so I didn't care much.
"So Olivia Grace Burgundy, how are you on this fine evening?" Connor asks in an overly posh accent just after we climbed into the car the boys had set for us. Which was being driven by James' friend Matt."I've been doing Mr. Connor Samuel John Ball" I whisper sounding more seductive than I would have liked to. I rest my head on his shoulder to go with the whole 'seductive, lovey' thing. I mean, if I'm going on this date I might as well have a bit of fun with it, don't you think? Con was at a loss for words momentarily, but that was okay as we arrived less than a minute later. Why did we even drive? We could've walked an got there in ten minutes.
"This. Is. Amazing." I state slowly taking it all in. It wasn't what normal girls would want, that's for sure. But it's what I wanted. Everything was pitch black, with the exception of four dim-lit lanterns, there was a small blanket (that obviously wouldn't let us both properly sit on), and a tiny picnic blanket.
"Got to hand it to the boys, they really know what you like." Connor said smiling. I laughed a bit and hugged him, mainly because there was no one else to hug and I was in a hugging mood.
"Shall we head down my lady" Con asked, actually pronouncing both words, oppsoing the ever so common "ma'lady" which I personally hate the sound of. I simply nod and we walk the short distance over to the blanket.
"let's see... crisps, crisps, sandwiches, water bottles, and whatever this is." he mumbles rummaging through the basket. I wasn't hungry, and just hearing about the food made me feel a bit sick to my stomach.
"Did I forget to tell you that you look beautiful?" Con question cheekily. I shot him a look and responded
"No. You didn't forget, you just didn't say it because it isn't true." he looked hurt when I said this, but I don't know why he would, maybe he didn't I couldn't see him properly with the limited lighting, but it still confused me.
"Livi you are the most beautiful girl in the world." He tells me looking mme dead in the eyes.
"What was that?" I interrogate, no one's nice to me, no one ever attempts to make me feel good about myself, these boys are probably only doing this because my mum, or Leo had said something to them, Connor probably doesn't even like me.
"a compliment, Love" he informs me as if I was stupid.
"I know what a compliment it, I just don't receive them." I tell him honestly, it's not like being hated is new to me, I've always been this way, and people have always bothered me. It's just how I am.
"You have amazing eyes. Your hair is the softest stuff I've ever felt. Your skin is incredibly lovely. I love how you dress the way you like, whether other people approve or not. I love your witty humour. I lo-"
"Connor stop." I cut him off, I can't hear lies, it'll make me turn into a fake snob. I just know it! I'll lose everything I've worked for if I start feeling good about myself.
'Livia, you're perfect the way you are. I love you." He tells me and leans in. Oh crap!! No, no, this isn't good, what do I do!! Well, I mean, he is Connor Ball so I shouldn't turn down the offer, but this is my first kiss!!!! I know, a 17 year old who hasn't had their first kiss, but I don't get out much okay? I got caught up in my thoughts and without me realizing it, our lips were touching.
