A freezing cold breeze had blew over the younge woman, her short black hair flew in every direction. This wasent really anything she cared about as her hair was normaly all over the place, not because it was normally like that but as she was a rather lazy person. Her arms where wrapped around her frame as she carried on treading throught the forrest Max closly behind her keeping silent, he looked as if he was in thought and well Heather dident really want to disturb him.
They had been walking for a few hours by now, the calmness of the sun had turned to a frozen night. The sky was a milky pink with cloulds covering the little amount of sun visible leaving the sky rather dark. The forrest was quite dense and so it left the two in even more darkness casting a sort of dread over heather, what if someone was following them? did anyone notice the corpse by now or did the succsefully get rid of it within the flames?
Her legs where starting to ache from the constant walking up and down hills, tripping over roots and stepping into small ditches of course which coursed her to become rather fustrated. She felt like pulling her hair out, maybe even crying, she shoudent of killed him....she just messed everything up not just for herself but for her dear friend max.
"Heather, we should rest" Max had spoke finaly breaking the silence that had been plauging them for the past so many hours.
Heather had only nodded wanting to keep to the quite, she dident want to talk, she felt as if she was to cry even if looked at a certian way. she glanced around her surandings trying to find somewhere to sit. The place was to no suprise full with trees bushes and quite the amount of tall grass, no where that seems to be comtibal and so she just sat resting her back on a tree.
She looked to the floor, bringing her knees to her chest before wrapping her arms around them, during this she herd max sittng down infront of her. He had took his bag off and started looking throught it. He had pulled out a torch for when it got dark and a blanket as it was rather chilly. He had gotten onto his knees and placed it over Heathers back before sitting back down, wrapping the other small one over himself.
He coudent help but look to heather and well had to say something, he dident like seeing her like this, he dident really like seeing her any way exept happy. he found it hard looking to her bruised face without getting angry, he wanted to know why she kept such things from him? he also found himself feeling as if it was his foult, how coudent he notice this? Takeing a deep breath he had decided to finally get some answers out of her.
"Heather, can we talk?" He asked his voice a bit quite of not partically wanting to talk about this.
"about what?" she snapped back sounding as angry as always.
"well...can you tell me why...why you killed him?" he managed to stutter out. "or the bruisis, can you tell me why you dident tell me about them?"
Heather had only stayed quite covering her whole small frame with the blanket a sort of universal sighn she dident want to talk anymore. Max had only taking a deep breath yet again before serching throught his bag once more.
"Well when i was at the shop i had gotten you some makeup, dident know if you had any left..." He had said placing them infront of her with a small brush with a mirror on the back of it... Heather still hadent responded.
The morning sun drafted a milky hue over the clouldy sky. A warm draft blew over Heather as she slowly started to stir from the restless night. She found herself hugged into maxs side, he wrapping her up with the small blanket and his arm ontop of that to help keep her warm. It had made her feel rather secure, to know he was there for her even after what she had done. Would he always stay around for her? well she dident know of this, maybe he will get scared of her... maybe he will just up and leave one day. she would understand if he did, she wasent partically the nicest to him.
She sat up, pushing his arm away and placing the small blanket over him before taking a glance around the area. The other small blanket they had brought with them was placed on the floor of course to try and make it a bit more comfterble, well which it dident it was still quite uncomftible but the thought of max setting that up for her was enought to make her happy. Her vision glanced to her side to see the small collection of makeup he had gotten her. Haveing nothing else to really do into max woke she decided to put some on, using a mirra on the back of her brush.
grabbing her foundasion she started bringing it over her scard cheeks and around her busted lip. She had put quite a lot around her right eye trying to hide the fact it was bruised. she dident partically know why she even botherd trying to hide them. If someone gave her more then a quick glance they could tell her face was messed up. Her lip was quite easily seen to be busterd and the small cuts on her cheeks could easily be spotted copared to her smooth skin.
Before Max had stired Heather was able to put on a little lipstick and some eyeliner, hopeing it woudent make anyone they may run into sucspises of why she was weariing the concealer.
"Morning shithead" Heather all so lovingly spoke as the blond haired man sat up and started rubbing his eyes of sleep.
"morning" he mutterd back looking up to her with quite the sweet smile.
"so, what are we going to do today?" Heather asked as she started putting her small amount of makeup back within her bag.
"well... i was thinking we head to Pleago" Max spoke softly "Its a big city (which i totaly dident make up) there has to be somewhere safe for us"
