After a while of chasing Rin, Amiamon jumped on him and pinned him to the floor taking your sword before climbing off.

"That's cheating!" Rin panted.

"Ami just loves me more." You snickered.

Taking the sword from the king of earth, you hugged him before attaching it to your hip.

"Thanks Ami, I'll get you loads of sweets."

"You'll take me to the store?" He asked hopefully.

"Yup, when I get paid we'll go to the store."

"Oh thank you very much little sister!"

Amiamon ran off and you and Rin begun your walk back to the building.

"Go back to the dorm, I'll be home later okay?"

Rin nodded and ran off as well, leaving you to walk into the infirmary alone. Most of 1-A's students had been given beds to sleep on, and Toshinori and Hizashi were sleeping too. The only person awake was Aizawa.

Walking into the large room, you headed to the supply cupboard and swung the door open as you begun to look for look for some bandages.

Finding some, you snatched a couple rolls, along with a few other things before closing it, nearly jumping out of your skin when you found Aizawa stood next to you.

"You should be in bed, those wounds were demon inflicted." You mumbled.

Taking his arm gently, you led him back to his bed and pushed him down onto it carefully.

"Sleep."

"I call you a monster and you're still nice to me?"

"I guess I'm to kind for my own good... you're meant to care for people you care about right?" You smiled weakly.

Grabbing his blanket, you covered him up and looked out the window with a sigh.

"(Y/N) I-" "Stay in here, I can't promise your safety if you walk around. The place it littered with traps and you wouldn't know how to find them." You cut him off.

Turning around, you quickly made your way to the door, biting the inside of your cheek. You hesitated for a split second but quickly ran out and into the cold air. Slowing your pace, you begun to walk to the nearest door, pulling out your keys, you opened the exorcists gym door, slipped in and closed it behind you. No one was in here which was good, heading the punching bags, you sat and begun to wrap your knuckles.

"Care for a partner?"

Lifting your head, you shrugged towards Yukio.

"Sure, couldn't hurt right? What brings you by this late?"

Yukio knelt in front of you, taking the bandages from you, he started to carefully wrap your knuckles for you.

"I knew you'd come here, you like to train whenever your angry or sad. Which is it?"

"Both I suppose..."

He finished and you stood up, Yukio walked around the punching bag and held it in place as you begun to lightly hit it, mindful not to hurt him.

"Both?"

"Yeah... I'm angry and John for showing up like that, I'm angry at him for all he's done to me and making me show who I am."

Letting yourself catch your breath, you carried on beating the bag.

"I'm sad that Aizawa thinks I'm a monster... that he thinks I'd hurt the kids..."

"You care for him, don't you (Y/N)?"

Stopping, you froze for a few seconds. You never really thought about it, but Yukio was right.

"I suppose... I do. I care for him, and I'm not sure how it happened..."

"Sometimes the heart just wants what it wants, you know?" He smiled.

Offering a half smile, You huffed a laugh and sat back in the bench, your crown and horns still flaming above your head.

"I know what you mean, but... he's never liked me, not he hates me. How can I care for someone who thinks I'm a monster Yukio..."

"I'm sure he doesn't really feel that way."

"Aizawa is the kind of person who will say what he means no matter how harsh it is."

Yukio rubbed your back comfortingly. You bowed your head and extinguished your demonic flames.

"You want to know what heartbreaking?" You asked quietly.

"What?"

Lifting your head, you turned your eyes to meet his blue ones. Yours were full of nothing but sadness and pain.

"If he needed me... I'd drop everything... I'd be at his side in an instant... because I don't just care for him Yukio... somehow... in this short amount of time I... I think I've fallen in love with him, and it scares me..."

"(Y/N)..." Yukio whispered in disbelief.

"I'm scared Yukio..."

Quickly Yukio pulled you into his arms, holding your head to his shoulder as he ran his hand over your hair.

"I've got you, it's okay to be scared."

You just sat there in Yukio's arms for a while until you found the strength to pulled away.

"Let's go home." He smiled.

Yukio pulled you up, wrapped his arm around your shoulder and begun to lead you out of the gym.

Home...

That's right, true cross was your home, you were accepted anywhere else. You knew what you had to do in the morning
