Pretending

After the weekend, Mephisto went back to UA in your place while you just sat around in his office, though you were still having nightmares and still burying your emotions inside you, you carried on as if nothing happened.

"Hey Ami?" You asked.

"Yes sister?"

"Mephisto gave you the universal key... right?"

Amaimon nodded and pulled said key out from his pocket. Pulling your phone out from your pocket, you checked the time. 2:55pm, classes ended in five minutes.

"Want to go to UA?"

"Oh yes! It'll be most exciting to see where you work."

Pulling your beanie on, you grabbed your sword and put that on your hip before walking over to your brother by the door. You carefully picked up the black jumper and held it tightly.

"Remember Ami, you cant let anyone know you're a demon."

"Of course little sister."

Taking the key from him, you grabbed his hand and unlocked the door, pulling him through into an empty classroom of UA.

"Thanks!" You yelled giving the key back.

Taking your brothers hand, you begun to drag him down the hall and slammed the class door open just as the bell went.

"You should be at home." Mephisto sighed, "and you were supposed to keep her there."

"I'm fine, really!" You smiled.

You turned to your class, seeing them all staring at you in shock before you were crushed into a group hug. Laughing, you hugged them all back one by one.

"Tsk... idiot..." Bakugo mumbled hugging you quickly.

"Aw did you miss me Bakugo?" You teased.

"Hell no!"

"Guess I'll go back home then."

"Don't you dare you damn asshole!"

Laughing, you ruffled his hair and stood up with the help of Amiamon. Walking over to Mephisto you have him a sheepish smile.

"Aw don't be mad, Ami only wanted to make me happy."

"I know, but you aren't supposed to be out."

"I'm fine! And if anything happens I have my two favourite brothers with me!"

Mephisto rolled his eyes and kissed the top of your head before nodding.

"We are to head straight back though."

"Deal!"

Padding over to Aizawa, you held out the jumper shyly.

"Thank you..."

"You can keep it." He grumbled.

Eyes widening in shock, you looked at him and found he was looking away from you.

"Thank you." You repeated.

Pulling your hoodie off, you pulled his jumper over your head and buried your nose in the fabric. It was obvious too big on you, the sleeves fell past your hands but you didn't mind.

Aizawa smiled the smallest of smiles at you making you smile back before you turned to the class.

"Why don't you tell me what you've all been up to?"

So they told you what they'd been doing in all their classes, and how much they wanted ou back.

"Do you guys not like Johann?"

"He's weird..." Mina muttered.

You snickered and bit your lip lightly to hold back the laughs. Mephisto pouted and crossed his arms.

"He's really weird." You agreed.

"When will you come back?" Iida asked.

"I'll be back tomorrow Iida, I promise."

Walking around them all, you hugged them all once more before opening the door.

"Go on home."

"BYE MISS (Y/N)!" They yelled as they left.

Waving them all off, you started to clean the classroom up while Mephisto and Amiamon talked near the door.

You were about to pick up a chair when a calloused hand gently gripped your wrist making your turn around. Aizawa held you in place.

"You shouldn't rush to come back."

"I'm not."

Aizawa left go, much to your disappointment.

"All I'm saying is you should take a few more days."

"I understand what you mean Aizawa, but honestly I'm going metal at home doing nothing and I miss everyone."

Sighing, Aizawa nodded his head, glancing between your brothers and you.

"Fine, just don't push yourself."

"I promise I won't!"

Finishing tidying the room, you headed to the door.

"(Y/N)?"

"Aizawa?"

Turning around, you saw an unknown emotion flash across his face, but it was gone before you could place it.

"You're okay, right? Truthfully?"

"I'm okay Aizawa." You nodded.

He frowned, he didn't believe you at all. But he didn't push the matter, he just looked back down the the papers on the desk.

"Alright, I'll see you tomorrow. It's a class trip so we'll be in the parking lot at 8am. It'll be about two weeks."

"I'll be there."

With that the three of you left, heading to an empty classroom, with the universal key you were all taken back to True Cross.

"I think it would be best if you stayed home tomorrow." Mephisto said.

"Why?"

"I have a bad feeling something will happen..."

Shaking your head, you dropped yourself in his desk chair and laughed a little.

"It'll be fine!"

Spinning the chair around to the window, you let your smile fall.

'How long will I wear this mask for? How long until I loose control?'

Shaking the thoughts from your head, you buried your nose into Aizawa's jumper and breathed in the familiar smell of coffee. Everything will be fine... right? Biting your nail, you stood up and spun around to face Mephisto.

"I need to go to Yukio and Rin's dorm to steal a few of Yukio's hoodies, then my place to start packing."

"Let us be off then!" Mephisto grinned
