I effortlessly drop down from the air ducts I had been crawling through, landing silently in a crouch.

I carefully make my way down the winding halls, senses in high alert.

Only four years ago, I was working at an aquarium in New York, and now I am carrying out a super secret mission for a just as secret organization.

I find the door I have been searching for and silently gag out the guards and begin to break the lock.

In only four years I had managed to reach the highest level a SHIELD agent could reach, at least to my knowledge.

I make quick work of the hydra agents, a silent and deadly whirl of blows.

I laugh to myself at the reference of the mythological beast.

I plug the thumb drive into the master computer, downloading and deleting its files, which is very cliche might I add.

Just the mention of the beast gets me thinking of the mythological world.

I have been avoiding that side of me for around six years. I've been so focused on avoiding the god half of me altogether, that my powers have fallen behind of my combat abilities. I have been rigorously training in many different fighting styles and weapons, that I completely ignored my demigod abilities. Well, it's not like I was just going to go around using them with Fury so nearby.

I knock out three more Hydra agents, making my escape from the facility.

Maybe after this I should take a little break, and focus on my powers.

After I complete the mission, I report to Fury for my debrief, giving him the flash drive and the details of the endeavor. He dismisses me but I don't move from my place across from him. He raises an eyebrow.

"Is there something else, Agent?"

I nod.

"I am going to take a break to focus on a few other things in my life. If you ever really need me, you know how to contact me."

Fury nodded, knowing there was no arguing. He knew that he would need me sooner than later, Earth is always in need of saving.

After heading back to my room and gathering basic supplies, I pull up a world map.

My attention is immediately drawn to the oceans.

Training underwater could help me practice the extent of my powers, and the ocean is full of different extremes that I could train in.

With my destination in mind, I decided to try vapor traveling there.

Sure, it's a long distance and will be very draining, but I will be landing in the ocean so the water will help rejuvenate my energy and I've also found that it's easier to vapor travel to large sources of water.

Checking one last time that I have everything I need, I cover my bag in a thin layer of ice, knowing I will not be able to keep it dry while passed out.

I close my eyes and focus on turning into water molecules.
