A Second Chance {Kiribaku}

Chapter Ten

Bakugo woke up early and sighed. Today was the day.. hopefully the plan works. Bakugo got dressed and ate his breakfast. He grabs his leather jacket and walked out the door. He puts it on as he walked out to his driveway. The cold breeze sends a shiver down his spine as he zips up the jacket. He takes his black helmet and slips it on. He sits down and undid the kick stand. He starts up the bike and it's engine roars. He heard his phone go off with the text of his assigned area to patrol tonight. He raced down the road at full speed.
He zips past a couple cars and through the streets. He makes a sharp turn and zooms past a certain red car.

He parks in the parking lot of the agency and walked inside. He walked straight into the locker room and puts his helmet away. He strips down and starts putting on his hero outfit. When he slips on his shirt the doors open. He looked back and saw the tall redhead. "Hey Baku, you might want to chill on your bike a bit. You raced past me so fast I almost mistook you for Iida" he chuckled as he walked over to his locker. Bakugo smirks at the familiar joke. Bakugo looks over at Kirishima as he changed. "You remember the plan right?" He asked looking at Kirishima. Kirishima smiled wide and nods. Bakugo nods and walked out.

Bakugo waits outside by the shuttle for Kirishima. "Sorry for the wait" said Kirishima shly as he walked up. Bakugo rolled his eyes and got on. They drive off to their patrol area. Kirishima tried to make small talk but Bakugo never said a word. The shuttle stops and they got off. "This is going to be a quite night" said Kirishima as they walked around the street. Bakugo rolled his eyes and looked around. Kirishima sighed and looked at Bakugo. Bakugo felt his eyes look him over. He looked over at him with an eyebrow raised. "Oh sorry..like the upgrade" he said with a nervous laugh.

An hour before their patrol was over a loud crash was heard. "Remember the plan..no mistakes!" Yelled Bakugo as they rushed twords the crash. Kirishima nods. The two villains were in the same place as before but this time Bakugo took on the big guy. He explodes the poor guy until he falls down. He was out cold and so was the smaller Villian Kirishima fought. So far so good. Bakugo remembered the third one just in time. "Ba- Ground Zero behind you!" Yelled Kirishima. Bakugo dodged and kicked the guy in the balls. He explodes the poor guys head and knocked him out. One of the Villians twitch and Bakugo kicked him in the head. Kirishima flinched and kinda felt sorry for the Villians. Bakugo spits on the one that had killed Kirishima last time around. "Well that was easy..uh am going to go phone the police station" said Kirishima walking past Bakugo. Bakugo nods and keeps an eye on the three losers.

Bakugo spots a skinny woman his age near the dock. She smiled and bows at him before turning to leave. Was that the woman who had the second chance quirk? Bakugo glares at her when she left. He had many mixed emotions twords that woman. Hate, grateful, and etc. He sighed and looked back at the Villians. "Hey Baku the cops are on the way..once they arrive we can head back. I know this is going to be but loads of paperwork" said Kirishima walking up to Bakugo. Bakugo nods and looks at Kirishima. Kirishima smiled and kissed him. What if the plan had went South? Would Bakugo save him in time?  What if something happens like this again only that woman won't be their to let him reverse it? So many thoughts went through Bakugo's head but only one stayed, I will protect Kirishima no matter what.
