Comments of the judge:

Overall, this story was quite well written, with a unique, AU spin on the original characters from Riggs' 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children', placing them in a modern, academic context. They've each been gifted their own unique pasts and personalities, and their interactions with each other were fun and entertaining. It was certainly filled with those moments every reader adores, where you feel captivated by the words you're reading, and you want to know how the characters will react to what just happened. Sometimes it does draw off into a bit of a lengthy explanation, or recount, which can impede a reader's flow. The characters are loveable, though, despite their sometimes cliché thoughts or behaviors, and you find yourself getting drawn into their past mishaps, as well as their present lives and interactions. The language was a bit much, in certain areas, and some descriptions were lacking, in terms of giving the reader a good idea what was going on around the characters. You did manage to avoid falling too far into the various tropes that were present in the story, by throwing in their own opinions and views of themselves in their respective situations, as well as their opinions of each other, but there were a few scenes and sections of dialogue that felt a little too forced, generic, or in some cases predictable. I will also advise against breaking the 4th wall for the future... But aside from those few, brief points, you do have a solid writing style, an impressive use of vocabulary, and a knack for creating individual, growing, loveable characters! Well done!
