A Riddle [Draco Malfoy X Reader]

Chapter Two

I walked next to Ronna , with my hand in hers. I could feel the stares and gazes from the people around me , it made me uncomfortable, but I shrugged it off. I guess Ronna could sense I was uncomfortable because she sqeazed my hand , causing me to look at her and smiled gently at me. "We're going to meet with the Malfoys alright?" She said. I nodded and continued walking the streets of Diagon Alley.

Ah yes. The Malfoys. Lucius Malfoy had also wanted to care for me after I got out of Azkaban , but Ronna got to me first. Im kinda glad Ronna was the one to take care of me. Dont get me wrong , the Malfoys are great and all but... I dont like the way they think.

Ronna doesn't really trust them fully , but enough to be willing to let them breath the same air as me. After a while I spotted the Malfoys up ahead. They're not really hard to spot because of their shiny bleach blond almost white hair.

"Hello Lucius" Ronna said stiffly. Mr. Malfoy turned around and looked at me and Ronna then smirked. "Ah , Ronna , Ms. Riddle , good to see you. I'm sure you met my son Draco" He said , putting his hand on , Im guessing his son's back. I shook my head to indicate that i haven't properly met him before.

"No? Alright then , you and Draco can buy your things together to get to know eachother, the adults will talk." He said the last part rather coldly. "Hmm.. as long as your back in time that's fine." Ronna said. I nod. She gave me some galleon and I thanked her. I started walking into the direction of where the closest store for our equipment is , which happens to be Flourish and Bolts.

Draco walked behind me , it was silent untill he spoke. "So , your a Riddle?" He asked. I nodded my head without looking at him. "Hey , my father said we should get to know each other!" He yelled. I realized I walked quickly enough for him to accidentally get left behind.

I sighed and stopped , letting him walk back to me. "Alright lets do this properly. Hi , I'm y/n Riddle." I stated , putting my hand out slightly for him to shake. He took my hand in his and shook it. "I'm Draco , Draco Malfoy" He smirked.

"Now that we've done that , lets go get our books." He nodded in agreement. We walked to Flourish and Bolts side by side. I noticed the people staring and whispering to each other in fear about me. I became tense and Draco noticed that. He became confused at first but then realized what was happening.

I could see him shoot those people a glare and placed his hand on my back , pushing forward to quickly get away from the stares. I mentally smiled because of what he did. We eventually got our books and paid for them.

"Alright lets go get our wands then our robes." I suggested. "Actually , can I get my robes while you get your wand?" He replied. "What happened to 'we need to get to know each other'?"

"We have enough time to do that on the train" He convinced. I sighed for the 563rd time today and said "Fine , just be quick"

While Draco went off to get his robes , I went to Ollivanders to get my wand. I entered the shop and my eyes scanned the area. "Urm.. excuse me? I... Im here to get my wand" I said rather stupidly. Suddenly an old man comes out from the shelves and stares at me with fear in his eyes. Seriously! Im not gonna kill anyone!

"O-oh! Miss R-riddle! Of course , I'll go see what I have for you..." He said shakily. He went back into the wall of shelves and looked around. He took a case and brought it over. He handed me the wand and watched me intently. Creepy. (666 words y'all)

I waved it a bit and suddenly , vase smashes into peices. Embarrassed , i put the wand down gently. "Sorry..." I muttered. He put the wand back and got another wand. "Try this one" he told me.

Draco suddenly came into the shop , holding his books and robes. I turned around and waved the wand. Light wind hit my face , my h/c hair swaying a bit. Golden-like light was above my head.

"Wow..." I heard Draco mutter under his breath. I smile slighty. "Ah , 11 and a half inches , Phoenix feather core." He said. I smiled at him. I payed for my wand and left Draco so I could get my robes and he could get his wand.

After awhile we all got back and gone our separate ways. Ronna had bought me a snowy owl with some gray and brown spots. I decided to name him Rubou (Roo-bow). Once I got home I took a shower and fell asleep after the long day I had.

You dont know how long it took for me to think of a name for the damn owl
