Isle's Princess (Sequel to Corruption of a Princess, Carlos x Reader)

Chapter 7

"WELCOME!" Harry announced

"FINALLY!" Uma exclaimed shortly after as music started to play "Huh, let's get this party started. I swear I'm cold-hearted. There's no negotiation. I'm not here for debatin'. You need some motivation? Just look at Ben's face, then ask yourself how long you think I'll remain patient. I'll throw him overboard and let him swim with killer sharks. You either hand over the wand or he'll be ripped apart"

As she sang and the crew gathered around her (y/n) stood behind Ben. He was still tied in her hair standing on the plank. (y/n) looked onto the dock at the kids from Auradon who were there for the trade. All the VK's were present but so was Lonnie. The princess wondered why they had brought her but quickly shook the though away she had a bigger problem. Somehow, she had to get Ben to them without being noticed and before they give Uma the wand. Not to mention she had each of the VK's occasionally glancing over at her to see who's side she would choose.

It was now Mal's turn to sing, she looked back at her gang before she begun then stated "Now, let's all just be smart, although for you that must be hard. You'll get your wand, No one has to come to any harm. Don't try to intimidate, your bark is much worse than your bite. Who's the baddest of them all?
I guess we're finding out tonight!"

The pirates then grouped together and began to dance "Let's go, bring it on, Better give us what we want. It's the wand for the crown, if you don't, it's going down."

"Let's go, make your move. Peace or war, it's up to you. Give him up and do it now, if you don't, it's going down." The VK's replied but the pirates swiftly countered.

"We want the wand, or else the king is gone. Your time is running out, you should really watch your mouth."

Finally, the VK's said their last reply "Let's go, pound for pound. We're prepared to stand our ground. Put your swords up, put 'em up. It's going down."

Chanting continued around her as (y/n) came up with a plan. Leaning forward she whispered to Ben that he would need to grab their attention for her that way the VK's would have an opening to advance. The king nodded and went to ask a question but was cut off when Mal began to sing again.

"Ok, look, this is not a conversation. It's a do-or-die situation. If you don't give me back the king .I'll have no hesitation. I'll serve you right here. And I don't need a reservation. That way your whole pirate crew can have a demonstration. Release him now, and we can go our separate ways. Unless you wanna deal with me and the VKs." Uma Scoffed at her then decided to taunt her

"So that's your big speech, huh? An empty ultimatum?"

Harry then appeared be hind the captain to taunt the opposing side. Before he started to sing, he smirked over at (y/n) causing the girl to force a smile and Carlos to glare slightly from the dock. "All it takes is one swing and I'll humiliate him. Matter of fact make one wrong move and I'll debilitate him. And if he even starts to slip, I'll eliminate him. All it takes is one long look and I'll"

"HARRY! We get it chill!" Uma interrupted causing harry to walk away and back over to the king and the princess who was keeping him captive.

As the chorus was sung harry pushed some hair out of (y/n)'s face. Confused the girl locking eyes with him. The pirate smirked then looked over to the dock directly at Carlos. That's when it clicked in the girl's mind. Harry knows that Carlos is the one she loved and was using it to poke at the smaller teen's nerves. (y/n) placed a hand on her friends' chest and lightly shoved him.

"Harry please." She whispered

The pirate saw a hint of sadness on the girls face and pushed her hair back one more time before shooting a glare at the other boy. He then silently walked away and just in time. The commotion quieted a bit and (y/n) elbowed Ben to tell him it was time to speak up.

"Hey, we don't have to choose. We don't have to light the fuse. Mal, whatever you do, it's gonna be a lose-lose. There's gotta be a better way. Uma, I promise I'll give you your chance. You'll have your say." Ben said and (y/n) lightly gestured for the VK's to move up but they only made a few steps before Uma got angry

"Silly king! You? Give me? You're gonna give me a chance? Well, not a chance." Uma exclaimed then everyone else finished the song.

"GIVE ME THE WAND!"

"GIVE ME BEN!"

Uma then held her hand out waiting and Mal pulled out the wand and went to just hand it over.

"Wait! too easy." Uma interjected "I wanna see it work."

Mal looked panicked for a minute then looked over to higher point on the doc. Everyone else followed her gaze and there was dude? The campus mutt from auradon prep? Why was he here.

"although it seems absurd turn your bark into a word." Mal said and pretend to cast a smell but (y/n) noticed no magic came out, it must be a fake. "Talk dog!"

"Dose this vest make me look fat?" the dog asked causing the princess' heart to stop.

It worked, that means they have the real wand and are about to hand it off the Uma. Uma laughed and asked for the wand again and once again Mal called for Ben.

"PRINCESS!" Uma yelled when the some was over "Bring the king here."

(Y/n) nodded and carefully lead Ben to the group. As they were walking Gil ran to then and started to talk to Ben.

"Ok so tell your mom that Gaston says hi and tell your dad that my dad says he should have finished off your dad then he had the chance." Gil rambled so fast that they both looked at him kind of confused.

"Let him loose princess." Uma told the (h/c) girl.

(y/n) then hummed a nearly silent tune causing her hair to glow. Everyone for auradon seemed shocked that her magic was working as they watched her hair untangle itself from the king and drop to the deck. Once he was free Uma grabbed Ben's shoulder and harry placed his hands on the princess' shoulders top pull her slightly back to make sure she wouldn't leave with the vk's. Just then they made the trade Uma had the want and the vk's had the king.

Mal started to rush Ben away as he reached back trying to grab (y/n) to bring her with them but it was of no use. He was being pushed away and Uma was casting a spell.

"By the power of the sea tear it down and set us free!"

Everyone cheered but then nothing happened. So, it really was a fake. Uma was furious and sent her pirates after them. The battle was intense. As chatting and fighting ensued the princess climbed to the top of the mast to try and find a way to help. Just then she saw the VK's all running the tunnel that leads back to the beach. That was how she could help, after they all cross, she would kick the bridge away that way they can't be followed. Looking up she tried to find somewhere to tie her hair to. That's when she saw a large support bean that extended into the air from the dock.

The girl threw she hair to the beam and said a quick spell to get to the secure. Then she started counting as each vk passed to the tunnel. Ben Mal and carlos were last. Carlos and Mal pushed Ben through and stood backing up into the tunnel. Carlos looked up at (y/n) confused while Mal just glared at Uma who was making her way to the tunnel. Just then (y/n) jumped from the mast and swung down using her hair and kicked the bridge away shocking everyone. Uma then started yelling.

"Whats my name! Whats my name! WHATS MY NAME!" she screamed "Say it now!"

(y/n) then swung back around only to be stopped by harry. He looked so betrayed and scared for the girl. The princes then looked to the shocked vk's in the tunnel as Mal pushed Carlos in. the two then disappeared and Uma looked at the princess with a glare.

"Come with me trader!" Uma yelled and grabbed the girls hair using it to drag her away.

Harry followed closely behind the girls made their way to where the bridge connects to the isle. When they got there the bridge was still touching the beach. Uma looked at the princess and shoved her hard into the ocean while the boarder was still open then jumped in shortly after. (y/n) swam back to the land only to be stopped by the boarder. Harry stood on the other side panicked.

"Uma! What are you doing!" Harry yelled

"Using her to get what I want!"

"Harry!" (y/n) yelled as uma pulled her under the water, but there was nothing her could do (y/n) was in uma's hands now.
