Chapter 19

Drake turns in the spotlight's light and says, in a fake, very bad, Mexican accent, "I'm not Lincoln, I'm Drake Ashburn." In the hope that Luna does not know this name, he turns back to continue drinking.

But that hope was dashed when Luna says, "Drake, that's your real name, your real father mentioned him!" Drake hits his head on the counter and says "Damn it dad!" Luna asks "Can we talk?" Drake turns around and sees the whole club looking at him, he sighs and says, "Okay, but not here where everyone can watch and listen to us." Luna has hope in her eyes and says "Come backstage."

Luna disappears and Sam follows her. Drake sighs and gets up, Akeno asks with concern in her voice, "Do you really want to do that?" Drake nods and says "I'm not a man who breaks his word." He just wants to leave when Akeno clings to his arm and says, "I'm coming with you." Drake raises an eyebrow and asks, "Are you sure?" Akeno smiles and says, "Of course, I'll help you."

Drake and Akeno disappear into the backstage area and see Luna and Sam standing by their equipment. Luna looks downcast and Sam tries to cheer her up. Drake and Akeno approach them and Drake asks "So what do you want Luna?" He does not really use much emotion in his voice, Luna seems hurt by it, but says "I wanted to apologize."

Drake raises an eyebrow and asks, "For what?" Luna rubs her arm and says, "You know what I want to apologize for." Drake rolls his eyes. Akeno says "I think Drake wants you to say it for what you want to apologize for and that you do not dodge this topic."

Sam and Luna now seem to notice Akeno and Sam asks, "Who is this?" Before Drake can answer, Akeno says, "I'm Akeno, one of Drake's girlfriends." The jaws of Sam and Luna touch the ground and the two screaming "WHAT !?" Luna says "Girlfriends, like in more than one girl." Drake nods and says "Yeah pretty much." Sam asks, "How many do you have?" Drake answers "With Akeno, I have six." Sam whistles and says, "You're a real womanizer."

Drake says "I love them all the same, with me, no one is treated better than the other." Akeno smiles and says "Thank you honey." She kisses him on the cheek and puts her head on his shoulder.

Drake smiles at Akeno, but turns back to the other two and says "By the way, Akeno is right, I do not want you to dodge this topic." Luna looks down at the floor, Sam puts a hand on her shoulder and says, "Listen, it's hard for her to talk about it, she's really very ashamed of herself and can not believe that she did something like that."

Drake sighs and says, "She should say it anyway." Sam wanted to convince him again that it is not necessary, but then Luna snaps, she says with tears in her eyes "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry that I called you bad luck, I'm sorry that I threw you out of the house and everything else I've ever done to you I'm sorry." Drake smiles and lays a hand on Luna's shoulder and says, "You're forgiven." Luna hugs Drake and cries, he claps her on the head and says, "Everything's fine."

After a while Luna lets go and she calms down, she says "Tell us how you met your girlfriends." Sam crosses her arms and says, "I'd like to hear the stories, too." Drake smiles and says "Gladly."
