The next day I didn't want to get out of bed.  I didn't want to eat.  I didn't even want to look down at my phone right now.   I jumped out of bed and glanced at the phone sitting on my shelf lighting up.  I shuffled over to the shelf and glanced at the screen.  I had exactly 20 texts and 12 missed calls from Jakob.  No way was I just gonna let him cheat on his girlfriend with me... But I definitely wanted to be able to let him.

A smile slipped past my lips as I thought about last night.  I wish things were never so complicated.  i wish I could let him kiss me one last time.  Just then, my mom popped her head in through the door.

"Party tonight for the bank and I'd like you to come.  Here is my credit card, go buy yourself any dress you'd like!" she said.

She handed me the small slip of plastic and I gave her a huge hug before slipping on a pair of sweatpants, throwing my hair up, and bolting out the door.

I made my way through the huge mall and found the top dress store they had there, which was Debs.  I was looking for a short tight dress.  After looking for a while, I found the perfect dress.  It was a red strapless dress with simple overlapping layers.  The dress was probably just fingertip length so I got my size and checked out.

Next, I made my way to a shoe shop to get a pair of heels.  I found a pair of red heels that would match perfectly and once again found my size, checked out, and headed out of the shoe store.

That's when I saw a very beautiful girl with a very handsome man.  The girl had long brown hair with brown eyes and she was very skinny.  The man, was Jakob.  My heart sank as I watched his hand tangle in hers.  Then, he saw me.  He kissed the girl lightly on the cheak and she walked into Areopostal.

I scoffed as I watched him fake all of this.  Now, he was coming towards me.  I walked fast trying to get away so he couldn't see me anymore but it didn't work.  He grabbed my hand and pulled me into a store taking me to one of the changing stalls.

"Your such a jerk!" I whispered.  He laughed that soft scratchy laugh and it sent shocks up my spine.  He pushed me into one side of the stall and he kissed me.  We stood in there kissing for about three minutes, and then stopped.

"What's the dress for?" he asked.

"Mom has a party for the bank," I replied.

"Oh yeah, Kierra and I are going for my mom to," he said.

My eyes easily shut as I tried to hold a tear back. I easily grabbed his shirt and kissed him one last time.

        "Cya, then," I stuttered.

I stepped out of the changing stall and ran out of the mall to my car and smashed my hand on the dashboard.  The tears ran from my eyes and I sobbed.  I had to admit, I really did love Jakob Haulk.  Even if he wasn't being good to his girlfriend right now, he just gets me.

Later at the house I slipped the red dress up over my body and threw my red heels on.  I put on a slight amount of makeup, straigtened my hair, and went off to the party to see my mom.

At the party, there was the upstairs for the employees and adults and the downstairs for all the teens and babysitters with their kids even.  The lights were dimmed and there was loud music playing.  The next song came on the speakers and it was a slow song, 'Say Something.'  I smiled.

"I love this song," I whispered to myself.

"I do too," I heard a man say.
