In the morning I had woken up to Jakob smiling at me.  Apparently, we had fallen asleep watching the movie 'The Lucky One' last night because we were both sprawled out on the leather couch.  I hopped up off the couch and eased my way to the doorway.

"Wait," he said in a scratchy voice.

"Yeah?" I paused and turned to face him.

"Where are you going?" he mummbled.

        "To pack!" I chriped.

When I had gotten to my room I went straight to my closet and pulled out a black suit case.  I scurried around the room picking out the best outfits I had to go to Paris.  Just then, my heart sank.

        "Mom," I whispered.

I had completely forgotten that I had to talk to her about this.  I couldn't just run away could I? Or, could I?  I stopped to flip open my phone, checking for any missed calls or messages from her.  Nothing.  She hadn't even messaged me once since she had left.  So, why do I have to tell her where I'm going.

"Need help?" I heard a voice behind me.

"Jakob you do enough already," I giggled.

        "Who's Jakob?" the person asked.

I turned to see a very tall familiar looking man standing in my bedroom doorway.  It was Drew.  The man I had just ditched at my mom's party and never even found him and explained the whole situation I had been in.

"Uh- what are you doing here?" I stuttered.

        He laughed.

"Look, your probably thinking that I am beyond mad at you because you left me at the party for that Jakob kid.  I am surely not mad at you Lindsey.  I just came here to tell you that your making a huge mistake by going for him.  Not that it's any of my business, but I just feel you should have so much better," he finished.

"Are you kidding me?  I'm absolutely sure I know Jakob so much more than you or anybody else ever would and he is definetly perfect.  How about you stay out of my relationship?" I snapped.

This is when Jakob had decided to stumble down to see why I was yelling.

        "Who is this," he asked.

"I honestly have no idea," I lied.

Jakob now had a deep frown into Drew's eyes.

        "Leave," he demanded.

"Love too!" Drew chirped and he left the house.

Jakob entered the room and threw his arms around my shoulders and kissed my forehead lightly.

"You all ready for Paris?" he smiled.

I nodded my head and squeezed his chest tighted to my body.  Your making a mistake.  Drew's words kept repeating through my head.  Stupid stranger.  He thinks he knows me?  He thinks he knows Jakob?  He may be handsome, but he's got absolutely no brain.

" Lindse, are you okay?" Jakob asked, sounding a bit concerned.

"I'm perfect! I'm going to Paris with my perfect boyfriend, last night was amazing, and I have nobody around but you!  Course I'm perfect!" I chirped.  I wasn't lying, I was perfect with him.  Although, Drew's words ran through my head a thousand times.  I guess what they say is definitely right.  Behind her smile and her I'm Okay's, is a thousand screams for help and that the girl definitely wasn't okay.

Just then, my phone rang with the ringtone  Been there done that by Luke Bryan.

        "Hello?" I said.

"Hi sweetie, just me checking in on you!"

        It was my Mom.  Perfect.

"Okay, cya soon," I quickly said as I hung up the phone.

"I want to leave right now Jake," I whispered.  That's when he scooped me into his arms, took our bags, and carried me to his truck.  He easily placed me in the passengers side and through the bags in the middle of us.

        "I'm so excited!" I squeeled.

He started to laugh at me considering I sounded like a four year old girl who had just been given a  barble doll for a prize.

"No laughing I'm serious, I really am!" I wined.

Now we were both laughing very hard.  That kind of laugh that makes you feel like you could throw up.  Mainly because now, I sounded like I was that same girl although now, I was wining for somebody to give the doll back to me.  We laughed and laughed until the truck came to a stop.

        "Here!" he said.

I looked out the truck window at the huge parking lot which was a mile or two long and then the huge white airport.  He hopped out of his side of the truck and i just decided to climb out his side instead of mine.

"Flight 346 may now board their plane!" A voice sounded over the intercom as we stepped into the airport.

"What number are we?" I asked.

"Uh, I think by this chart, we are-," he paused.

"Flight 348!" he finally managed to spit out.

We did the full process in the airport. Security and everything.  When that was all completed, I was starving.

"Want me to go get us some food?" he asked

"Oh my, please do!" I giggled.

He lightly kissed the top of my head and walked off to find the closest cafe' around.

While I sat waiting for him a pulled out one of my Teen Vogue magazines and got to reading.  I looked down at my watch and glanced around the airport.  I had been sitting here for 15 minutes.. where on earth was Jake?  Did he find another girl? Or even take off because he decided he didn't want to get on our flight to Paris? Stop it Lindsey.  You and Jakob have been bestfriends and now more than that since you were babies! He's not going to do anything to hurt you.  All the questions rolled around my head as I stared at my watch.

"Here ya go!" I heard a voice.  It was Jake.

        "Thanks so much!" I chirped.

"I hope you weren't worried!  There was a huge line and it took forever to get to ordering! Oh, and I hope you don't mind pepsi instead of  coke!" he rambled on.

I giggled as I watched him blab.  "It's fine!" I laughed.
