A bright light shone in his eyes. Arthur got up and sat on the porch and watched the sun rise. He smiled, he could not remember the last time he saw a sunrise. The sunshine reflected off his pale skin, when he looked at his arm his was temporarily blinded. The sun light shone in his hair, making it look pale gold. The light gave him a warmth he had not felt in so long. He inhaled deeply, the fresh Autum air filled his lungs, and he did not have a coughing for this time. He watched the birds singing to each other in the trees. He heard the bushes move and quickly jerked toward that direction, only to see a squirrel jumping from one tree branch to another. The furry long tailed creature jumped onto another branch, and ran down it. Soon Arthur noticed the squirrel was in a familiar yard. His yard. He looked at the broken down old house. Yeesh. He thought. I lived in that? No wonder Nathan came home with all those odd rumors. As if to summon his older brother, Nathan came walking out of the Radley Place. Arthur quickly got of the Finch porch and hid under it. Nathan walked right down the road like he always did, well, now that he got a job. Arthur continued to stay under the porch, in fear someone would find him. He laid his head on his arm and sighed. Then he waited for the Finchs to wake up.
