The New Girl

Charlotte POV

I and the other cheerleaders are standing near our lockers chatting about what our plans are going to be after school and over the weekend.

"Charlotte have you gotten an eye on anyone yet?" My friend Crystal asked me since I haven't dated someone ever since I came out as a lesbian.

"Nah, there aren't that many cute girls here that are my type" I respond to Crystal.

"That is bullshit, watch the next person who walks through that door will be your type and you will like her." My other friend Emily says.

"Whatever let's see!" I respond not believing that she will be correct.

I turn and look at the door rolling my eyes, then I see a beautiful brunette, with soft brown eyes, wearing cute ripped jeans, crop top, and vans. In disbelief, I stare her up and now and turn around to Emily.

"Fuck you how did you know..." I ask.

"I saw that girl get out of the car in the parking lot," Emily says giggling.

I roll my eyes and turn back to the new girl and she walks passed me and says hello to the rest of us and walks around until she finds homeroom.

I bite my lip and the bell rings and we all walk to homeroom together. When we arrive at homeroom I see the new girl and my eyes widen.

"Crap..." I say to Crystal and Emily.

"What's wrong Charlotte?" Emily asks.

I point at the new girl "Her she is here." I tell her.

"Well, why don't go up to her and be friend her," Emily says and she and Crystal push me to the new girl and I trip over myself self and the new girl looks up and smiles.

"Hi there." The new girl says

"Hi, so your the new girl right?" I say trying to sound confident but she has all my weaknesses.

"Yeah, I just moved here from Australia," The new girl says with a smile and accent comes out. 

"Oh is Australia nice?" I ask trying not my best to blush. 

"Yes it is very beautiful but I like it here also, just hope I make friends." She smiles. 

"We can be friends if you want. " I say and I look back at my friends and they make kissy faces at me to teasing me. 

"I almost forgot my name is Charlotte, I'm the head cheerleader and my friends are also on the cheer team. " I say smiling. "and I'm lesbian," I say under my breath.  

"Oh, my name is Amelia,  and what did you say I didn't catch it." She says smiling but with a cute little confused face. 

"Oh, nothing..." I say. "Well see you later" smiling. 

I got to my friends and sit with them and go through the whole day thinking shit Amelia is so beautiful, She has all my weaknesses and everything.
