We sat down at a picnic table and continued eating our sandwiches.
"Your father Ashton was a great guy, he really was. " she said with more happiness in her voice. "Why did he leave then.." I said in a lower tone. "He had to Ashton" she said while giving me one of those warm hugs. I noticed half of the jelly on my sandwich was gone, It took me a minute to realize I got jelly on my shirt, my mom noticed right away and laughed. I couldn't help but laugh too. A heard a voice in my head telling me to run home, I Ignored it. My mom got up and went to the car, I could hear something from afar moving quickly. The sun was going down faster than it usually does and the woods got darker and darker every step I took. "I can't find the keys" My mom said to me when I walked over to the car. Something or someone was watching us in the shadows creeping along the trees and bushes, the voice got louder in my head more war guy type voice. "We should go" my mom said packing up the stuff and running into the car, I ran to the car and locked all the doors once she got inside, the voice got louder and louder. I felt suddenly stronger out of nowhere. The thing jumped up onto the car, my mom started speeding down the road. I could hear the things thoughts and voice, It was looking for someone. Someone of war.
