The room was spinning, I felt like I was stuck in a bed wrapped with multiple blankets.
“Thank god your awake” A calm voice spoke to me while removing one of my blankets.
“Awake..? From what?” I mumbled trying to see the room more clearly.
The room looked like one of those neatly organized hospital rooms, there was two machines hooked up to me recording my heart beats and my blood pressure. The girl that spoke to me had long blonde hair that was the straightest hair I've ever seen, baby blue eyes and wore a nurse outfit.
I took a sip of the beverage she left out for me “thanks for the Beverage” I said then continued drinking . “Sorry I didn't catch your name” I looked up at her
“My name is Rebecca, Daughter of Aphrodite. I work here. ” Rebecca spoke with niceness even in her voice.
I held out my hand “Nice to meet you Rebecca, My name is Ashton.. Son of.. — I don't know? ” she shook my hand and gave a smile.
“I've never heard that god name before” she laughed “You look so clueless, is this your first year here? ”
I mumbled “Yeah.. ” under my breath. She gave me another smile then rolled her eyes, it took me a moment to realize the room besides this one was being loud and was disrupting the other nurses.
Rebecca groaned “I'll be right back Ashton” then headed off to the room. My hands were pale as ever and so was my face, my legs felt weak and beated up.
“He broke his arm touching himself too much” A males voice said while wheezing his mind off.
Rebecca face palmed “Just.... ” she looked at me. “This is Ashton, he's new here. ” she gave me a smile and helped me out of my bed.
The Guy with her looked around 15, he had slicked back black hair like a greaser and ocean blue eyes. The black shirt he wore matched his hair as well as the shorts. I wouldn't mistaken him for someone who fell asleep on the beach
“What's upp, I'm Tyler. You can call me— ” “Fishsticks” Rebecca said interrupting Tyler. He held out his hand, I shook it quickly Awkwardly I looked down
“My names Ashton..— ” suddenly the ground shook and one of the near by buildings roof got shot off and broke.
“Ughh this keeps happening . Damn They need to stop overworking those forges" Rebecca groaned and grabbed her bag and headed out of the office.
