I couldn't believe I was here,it was straight from my dreams to reality. I was thinking about my dreams and the dreams of the people who were there hoping for the same and suddenly I have a reality check when my name gets announced on the stage.
Before going to stage I was looking for mirror as it was a big day for me and I have to look best and at the same time I was nervous because I have to perform infornt of people who will decide about what will happen next in my life.
As I walk towards the stage my stomach turns upside down.I was nervous that if i was looking good or not .I was wearing my favourite and my lucky dress.It was lacy and black in colour and was lucky for me.The dress was hugging my body.My mum gifted this beautiful dress to me when I left California.
"Hey what's your name",Simon asked
I am nervous and no words are coming out of my mouth.
As I grab the attention from all the things happening around I answer hesitatingly.
"Hi I am Mia"
"Why are you so nervous ,we are not going to eat u"Simon said
I though that Simon is rude but in reality he is sweet.
Whenever you are ready,he says and I grab my mic tightly and started to sing.I sang my favourite song "Twenty two" by Taylor swift.All the four judges were impressed by me and now I was feeling on the top of the world as they stood up and started clapping for me.
At that time I suddenly go into a flash back when everyone used to make fun of me in high school saying that u can't sing,your voice is scary even my ex used to make fun of me every time but the only person who had a trust in me and motivates me was my mum.
After my Dads sudden death she was the one who stood there for me always. The reason of why I am standing here is my mom.I have tears in my eyes.
"Hey are you ok"?Simon asked
I having tears in my eyes,go towards him and hug him,it was the best day of my life. My mom was waiting for me outside and I go outside screaming and pull her into hug.At that time I felt that I was living my dream finally.
Now its the time me for battling in the judges house.
