Christmas 2020
sophia's POV:
I awoke to the smell of bacon frying in the kitchen. It was rare I was last up, and even rarer to find Lando cooking, but I rolled with it.
I was deadly excited to spend my first christmas with him, the whole day would be full of just the two of us and I couldn't wait. It had been ages since I had my baby all to myself.
I dragged myself out from the bed and put a hoodie that had once been Lando's over my shorts, I made my way towards the kitchen and saw lando stood over the stove, trying to balance the 3 different pans he was cooking in.
"smells good" I smiled, hugging him close from behind "merry Christmas"
he turned to face me and gently kissed my forehead, a massive grin spreading across his face
"happy Christmas gorgeous" he whispered hoarsely, his voice husky and deep.
He continued cooking and eventually plated up breakfast, which consisted of bacon, eggs, pancakes and hash browns.
"bon appetit" he grinned, sitting opposite me.
I looked at him and took in his true beauty, he noticed me staring and pulled a face, I rolled my eyes
"you're ruining the view" I pouted, beginning to eat the food he'd cooked me
"oh poor you" he smiled, taking a piece of bacon from my plate
"hey, not fair" I cried, trying to take one back from his plate. We began having a fight with our forks.
Once we'd finished eating, and clearing away, the two of us headed towards the bedroom to get ready for the day.
I chose a pink dress, one that came down to mid thigh, and I paired it with a pair of pink fluffy socks and a small black jacket.
When Lando came out from the en-suite, he straight away burst out laughing at my choice of socks
"cold feet?" he grinned
I pouted at him, trying not to laugh myself
"Very" I sighed, grabbing my makeup bag and beginning to storm towards the bathroom, he grabbed my arms and hugged me
"you're so gorgeous"
"oh stop it" I bit my lip, and rolled my eyes
"hurry up soph, I wanna open presents" he stuck out his bottom lip playfully
"you're such a kid" I punched his shoulder "I'll be as long as it takes"

"right, who's this one from" Lando smiled, holding up a box
"I don't know why you keep asking hun, you know the answer is going to be look at the tag" I told him
"Fine, this ones to the 'other s and l' from 'saf and liam'" he passed it to me
"so basically it's from saf then" I raised an eyebrow as I began to tear the paper away
"basically" he agreed, knowing just as well as I did how awful Liam treated Saffron.
