Depressing Short Stories/Poems

Pointless

I'm blind

I'm in the dark

I guess it's time

To leave a mark

I said I'd stop

I know I did

But I've been doing this

Since I was just a kid

I've learned some ways

To hide it all

To hide the fact

That I could fall

I'll keep a smile

Hide the pain

Never let you

See the rain

"I'm fine" I say

Holding back tears

"It's Okay" My voice shakes

As I push back my fears

I'm not good enough

I know it's true

And I'm so sorry

That I love you

I know I'm a burden

So now I'll go cry

It all hurts so much

Why do I even Try?
