"asleep"

"um-" chandler hesitates. chris stood there, studying chandler's features while waiting patiently for a response. after he realized he's not getting one, he decided to let it go. "you don't have to tell me yet, just when you're ready." chris reassures. chandler gave him a soft smile. chris had always been sweet and understanding, and that's why chandler likes him so much. chandler grabbed chris' hand and led him to his room. they snuggled up together and continued to watch "love, simon". chris played with chandler's hair only really paying attention to him instead of the movie. chandler looked at him and smiled. "whatcha doin' there?" chandler said, smiling. "nothing. just always amazed at how handsome you are." replied chris, truthfully. chandler tried to hide himself blushing but it didn't work. they were now just looking into eachother's eyes, being able to see eachother clearly from the light of the computer. they starred at eachother just enjoying the moment for about 5 minutes until chandler fell asleep. chris decided he couldn't hold his feelings in any longer. whether chandler was awake or not, he had to tell him. "i know you're asleep, but i think this will be easier to say now that you are. i've liked you for years. you make me happy by doing anything. i know your flaws, and i love all of them. you're absolutely perfect to me. i wouldn't change a single thing about you. and i'm sorry i hurt you. i just kissed that girl to get over you. but it obviously didn't work. i don't know if you like me back or not. and i probably never will know. but i just need to say this. i'm so sorry for everything chandler. thank you for being there for me for so long." everything chris had said was true. except the part of chandler being asleep. he had to force the smile off his face to not give it away that he was still awake. he waited until he knew chris was done and decided to say something. "i like you too chris" chandler said sleepily. chris went wide eyed. "how much of that did you hear?" chris asked, scared. "all of it." chandler replied. "is it bad that i want you to be mine?" chris asked. "no." chandler answered. chris gave chandler a soft smile and grabbed chandler's hand. he the went to sleep along with chandler. they fell asleep cuddling with smiles on their faces.
