Adrian's POV
I walked into my Geography class, just expecting a normal class on the first day of school.
Ya know what I'm talking about.
•introductions
•what we're going over in the year
•being forced to interact with our other classmatesYeah, that.
And I was right.
For the most part.
I walked into the class and it looked like a normal class.
3rd Person/Narrator's POV
Unless you count the millions of pictures that had captured everything from what can be assumed to be family and friends to nature. There were pictures everywhere in the room.
Everywhere.
As Adrian went to find a seat, his new teacher came in, he looked like he was maybe in his... early twenties?
Maybe?
It was always hard to tell, but he looked really young, like almost too young to be teaching a group of 13 and 14 year olds.
He had short, brown hair. He couldn't have
been over 5'6.Not like Adrian was any taller, he was barely 5 foot.
His new teacher wore a plain black button up shirt with a blue tie. He looked like he was trying to look professional.
It was only for the first day. Well, the tie was.
Adrian wasn't exactly paying attention to the teacher while he was doing attendance until it got closer to his "name"
Maybe he could just tell his teacher to call him by a different name and pronouns.....
"Anne? Anne Vallar?"
"Um... here, but I prefer to go by Adrian..."
Said boy was on the verge of a panic attack, he didn't notice but his breathing had sped up; his leg was quickly bouncing up and down under the table; and he felt like his throat was about to close up. Until his teacher finally spoke up after writing something on his attendance paper,
"Okay Adrian, how do you spell that? A n or e n?"
"Uh... a n..."
"Okay, thank you for telling me. Jay Veronica?"
"Here!"
He just, continued with attendance like it was nothing. It left Adrian in a short state of shock.
That's possible? For them to just... accept me?
His thoughts were disrupted once more by his teacher, Mr. Hamilton, speaking to the class once more.
"Okay class, as you've noticed around the room, there are lots of pictures with lots of different things or people. This will be your first assignment. This semester I want you guys to take one picture a day that represents you or is something that you enjoy, for example, nature. At the end of the semester, you will share with the class your pictures and give some examples of what they mean to you. Don't worry, I'll remind you before we leave class everyday."
"Now I want you all to introduce yourselves to your fellow classmates, make new friends."
Adrian found someone that he already knew, one of his friends who already knew about him and walked up to her,
"Hey Addi."
"Hey Adrian."
The Assignment
Sorry for the lack of updates! October is a really busy month for me... and I'm working on other chapters, don't worry!
Have a great day/night!
