Adrian's POV

"So you finally got the courage to tell someones besides me your preferred name? I'm proud of you." Addi said, patting my back.

Let me tell you about Addi

Her birth name is Addison Naye, I just call her Addi or Naye, sometimes just my little sister in French. We've known eachother now for five years, right after my moved away, he's in the military but my mom has full jurisdiction of my older brother and I, I don't want to get into it.

But back to Addi...
She's about 10 months younger than me, even though she's a bit taller than me. I mean, everyone is at this point, I'm barely 5 foot.

She has long, brown (well, had, she keeps dyeing it, but I started dyeing mine too so I can't say anything), curly hair that goes about halfway down her back; a midtone between tan and pale skin with thin rectangular glasses sitting upon her face; she often wore black outfits so we both looked like emos.

Addi and I have been best friends for a long time, so long that we just call eachother siblings at this point. I'm her older brother while she's my younger sister.

She's one of the few outside my family that actually knows about my home life. But she's the only one who knows the details of every single thing I find out about with court.

"Yo, older bro, you good? You were kinda staring off into space." She said while waving her hand in front of my face. I couldn't tell if she was worried or not.

Human emotions are hard to read at times. But remember, just act like you're okay, act like everything is fine. You're fine.

"Oh, yeah. I'm good, just daydreaming and still kinda tried, ya know?" I responded, a fake smile showing itself upon my face. I guess she bought the bait because she just smiled back and continued talking...

"Okay, I know how that is. Just try to sleep some more tonight, don't stay up too late on Wattpad or YouTube. Or whatever you do when you don't sleep."

"Yeah, yeah, I'll try. But I can't promise you anything. But let's start think about what to do for our first pictures." I said, trying to get the topic onto something else.

"YEAH! What are you going to do yours on first?" She basically yelled, she always seemed to have lots of energy, whether it be a bad thing or a good thing depended on what she did with that energy.

"I have an idea, come here, I have my phone in my pocket." I pulled out my phone and pulled Addi closer to me. After unlocking it I clicked on the camera app, and put on a believable fake smile.

"Say cheese!"
