-Nico POV-
I went back to my room and found Skyla and Pan talking about the party today, dressed formally "Wait, wait, there is a party today?" I asked them. "Of course, silly, the Family Day party."
"I completely forgot, geez."
"Well, you still have time so get ready, we'll wait for you at the entrance" said Pan. I went down and put on what I found, my jacket with a shirt and a tie with a skull.
"Come on, it's time" Skyla didn't seem very excited. Upon arrival at the party it was all decorated, there were tables with food and a chocolate fountain. Jay and Carlos were talking trying all kinds of sweets with the chocolate fountain, so I also went to try a little. Skyla also came and tried some chocolate strawberries. We were all happy (and satisfied with the candy).
-Skyla POV-
We were all together talking until Ben appeared and offered to play cricket. Carlos started screaming "Dude! Where are you?", a small brown dog appeared and pounced on Carlos, he hugged him.
"Skyla, I introduce you to my dog, Dude". At first I was a little scared because I had never seen a dog but then I stroked it. We went to play croquet, but as none of us knew, Ben taught us. A lady approached me and asked me
"Do I know you?"
"No, I don't think so" I replied. Carlos was playing with Dude with the cricket ball.
"Grandma, I don't think you'd like to talk to this girl, unless you want to live in the Underworld for an
eternity". I looked at Audrey with hate. I noticed that Audrey was talking to Sleeping Beauty's mother.
"You!" Audrey's grandmother yelled at me. Everyone turned to see what was happening and Carlos approached me
"How is it possible that you are here?"
"Calm down Queen Leah" Ben said "Remember I said I was going to bring four more VKs to Auradon to give them another chance?"
"A chance for what Ben, to destroy us? Do you not remember that Maleficent's daughter almost succeeds in getting her mother to take Auradon? Do you think bringing a descendant of Hades is better?" Nico and Pan approached.
"-I-I'm sorry but ..." I started to say.
"Don't get any closer!" Chad stood in front of me. "Chad stop, leave her alone" Carlos interposed. "What?! They were raised by villains! What do you think they were taught, huh? Fair play, kindness ?, You stole another girl's chance to be with Carlos"he pointed at me "You like hurting people" he pointed at Nico "and you, he looked at Pan" you just like to believe that you are superior to others. Pan approached and Chad grabbed her jacket. Nico, furiously pushed him and Pan sprinkled the perfume she had used in the museum, thereby making Chad sleep.
"Chad? Chad! Pan did something to Chad!" Audrey shouted and several people came over to see what happened to him. Nico grabbed my arm.
"Let's get out of here." I nodded and walked away from the party to a distant table.
Carlos and the others looked at us worriedly. Doug approached us to tell us something but Chad called him and forbade him to talk to us. Carlos approached me "I'm sorry."
"Leave it, it's nothing". The others looked at us and Dizzy went to hug Pan. Celia looked at Nico worried. I signaled to my brother and my friend to leave. Audrey and Jane approached us.
"How long do you think they will last here?" Audrey laughed.
"Yes, I don't think others choose these VKs to go to the coronation". From the table I made a hand of a skeleton grab Jane's foot and she screamed in panic. "There's a lot more where that came from" I looked at them
"Who do you think you are?" Audrey was outraged. "Do you think I'm kidding?" Audrey and the others left scared.
"Let's get that scepter at once and get out of here," I told them with an evil smile. They nodded.
