Chapter 1

Your POV
"Okay mom! I'm going home now!" You said telling your mom.

"Drive home safe." Your mom said giving you a hug.

"I will. Tell dad and Shawn that it's a shame that I didn't get to see them today." You said. You dad and older brother decided to spend the day and go to the ice rink.

"I will. And be careful. The Owl Crew is still out there. They are dangerous." Your mom said. You rolled your eyes. The Owl Crew are a gang group who do heists at night without anyone noticing. You scoffed.

"Mom. I doubt that they will come to get me. It's like 12:25pm." You said laughing.

"Just be careful." Your mom said giving you a kiss on the cheek. You smiled.

"I will. I love you mom." You said walking out the door.

"I'll see you in next week!" She said. She watched you head to your car parked in front of their garage. You get inside the car and turn it on. You got your phone and started to charge it while putting on the aux cord. You played your favorite playlist. You start to drive back home which was a 20 minute drive. You finally got back home to your large apartment. You close your door and put your keys down. You sighed and your cat came up to you and purred.

"Hey Bella. Did you miss me?" You said as you picked her up and walked to the couch. You sat down as you turned on the tv. Your cat, Bella, sat on your lap as she fell asleep. You grabbed the papers next you and started to read the mail. You moved Bella and placed her on the couch and you went to your room.

You went in and changed into your short shorts and a large t-shirt. Your let down your (h/c) wavy, long hair down. Then, your phone started to ring. You looked at it a saw the callers name. You answered it.

"Hey, David!" You said smiling putting the phone on your ear.

"Hey (Y/N)! How have you been?" He asked.

"I'm good. How long since we've last talk?" You asked him as you were cleaning your room.

"I think we talked last week. I think on Wednesday." He said. "I remember last week you said you were going to visit your mom today. How'd it go?"

"My mom was the only was home. My dad and brother went out to the ice rink." I said a little upset.

"Aw. Well, there's always next week right?" He said. I smiled.

"Yeah, you're right." You said. Then, you heard a voice in the back from David's call. He sighed.

"I've got to go." David said.

"Already?" You said with a sad voice.

"Yeah. I'm sorry." He said.

"What do you have to do?" You asked. He stayed silent.

"I ,uh, have to go to the store to buy some stuff." He said. You stayed silent.

"You hesitated." You said.

"What?" He said.

"You hesitated. Are you lying?" You asked.

"We have to go now!" A voice said in the back. You moved the phone back.

"Ouch. Well, I'll let you go before you get yelled out even more." You said.

"Okay then. I'll try to call you tomorrow." He said.

"Okay. Bye." You said.

"Bye, (Y/N)" He said. you hanged up and sighed. You looked at the clock. It said 1pm.

"Guess I got to get ready. I need to be at the hospital at 2." You said to yourself. You quickly changed to your work clothes. You go to the other room which has your guitar, piano, your desk with all your paint supplies and your microphone to record your music. You close the windows and close the door. You locked the door to the room just incase anyone entered the room. You turned off the tv and head out the door.
