Evan's POV

I was standing behind the music set since I didn't know what to do after (Y/N) and I stopped dancing. I saw (Y/N) come out of the house with her friends and started to dance. They were dancing crazy so I laughed. Then, my friends joined them. I was off at the distance watching them, most (Y/N). I smiled.

"You like her don't you?" A voice said. I turned to the side and saw a guy who I assumed was her brother. He took his hand out. "I'm Shawn. (Y/N)'s older brother."

"I'm Evan." I said as I shook his hand. We let go and turn to face to every adult dancing and every little kid trying to dance.

"So, you like my sister?" He asked. I didn't know what to say.

"I'm not sure. I've never been in a relationship." I said feeling a little embarrassed.

"Well, my sister has. And I don't want you to break her heart as well." He said looking at me. I looked at him.

"I won't break her heart." I said.

"I'm counting on that. She's been through so much in her life. Anything can break her. Her friends are protective of her as well. So, they'll beat your ass." He said smiling. I smiled as well.

"I won't get on their bad side then." I said smiling. He nodded. He started to walk away and then stopped. He turned to me.

"If you really like her, then start making a move. She hates doing everything first." He said. " And try not to break her hurt because she'll have friends and family to beat your ass up."

He smirked and turned around and walked away. I turned to see my friends coming up to me all sweaty.

"Had fun?" I asked smiling.

"I don't remember ever having this kind of fun." Tyler said.

"Yeah. It feels good." Brian said.

"Why'd you guys stop dancing then?" I asked.

"Because her brother was talking to you and we thought you needed back up." Marcel said.

"Nah. It's fine. We were just talking." I said.

"About (Y/N)?" Nogla asked.

"Yeah." I said as I looked at her dancing with her brother.

"These people are so cool to be honest." Delirious said as he looked around.

"Yeah. I wouldn't get on any one's bad side here. Even the little kids. If they were a gang, I wouldn't even try to take them down." I said smiling. We laughed.

"I see where (Y/N) gets it from." Mini Ladd said. We nodded. I continued to stare at (Y/N). She turned at us. She smiled and ran up to us.

"Hey guys! Come on and dance some more!" (Y/N) said smiling.

"Nah. It's okay." Scotty said.

"Now guys. Come on. You guys are going to dance whether you like it or not! Plus, my dad is going to out a song where you need a partner! And I need a partner." (Y/N) said crossing her arms.

"Fine. Only if Evan dances in the partner dance." Brock said smiling. The others looked at me.

"Nah. Go have fun without me. I'll be by myself here." I said.

"Oh, so you can say no to us when we say come dance with us but earlier, you didn't decline a dance with (Y/N)." Tyler said smirking. I glared at him while blushing.

"(Y/N), why don't you convince him to dance with you in this partner dance?" Nogla asked.

"It's okay if I don't dance with him. I can dance with my other guy friends or maybe one of you guys." (Y/N) said smiling.
