Chapter 16

Third POV

"So, she was there the whole time." Aubrey said. They decided to go back the boys' home to talk.

"Yep. Never left." Brian said.

"Did you guys talk to her?" Cynthia asked.

"No." Delirious said.

"We should see where she lives. So we should see if we can trust her into our lives again." Tyler said.

"As much as I don't like that idea, it's the only way." Nogla said.

"He's right. I want to talk to her." Evan said.

"Then, we have to start tracking her." MiniLadd said.

"We'll get on it." Delirious said as he and Lui got up fro their seats and headed to the planning room.

"Tell us when you find something." Evan said. They nodded.

"Well, we are heading home now. We have work tomorrow." Chloe said. The guys nodded.

"We'll call you when something happens." Scott said. The girls nodded and left home. The boys sighed. Evan got up and headed to his room as the boys looked at him walk away.

He opened his door and closed it. He walked to his drawer and pulled out a photo of him and (Y/N). They were smiling together as they looked at each other.

He sighed as he laid on the bed.

"Maybe there won't be lies again." He said.

Days later...

The boys had followed (Y/N). They would follow her to the bank, the club, buildings. They would hack into her phone to see any text messages or listen to her calls.

They couldn't understand what the texts meant or during calls, they would say small sentences or when she met up with someone, they would pass each other and quickly change a brief case. But they never knew where she lived considering she would lose them easily. Sometimes, they would confront the people she talked to.

"So, Vanoss. What should we do?" Delirious asked. The boys were in a meeting about what to do with her.

"Yeah. She's actually secretive this time. We don't know what to do." Brian said.

"And we keep losing her so we don't even know where she lives." Marcel said.

"We've been outsmarted by her again." Tyler said as he crossed his arms.

"If she outsmarted us last time and is doing it again, what are the chances of her not doing it again?" Mini said.

"I agree." Brock said.

"Things can change guys." Nogla said.

"Yeah!" Scott said.

"And if they don't?!" Evan spoke up. It was silent. "We've looked for her. She doesn't appear. If she doesn't want us to find her, maybe it's because she is still doing what she did in the past and she doesn't want us to know about it!"

Then, there was a knock on the door. They all looked at it each other. They all got up and headed to the door. Evan opened the door and they saw a box on the floor. Evan picked up the box and brought it inside.

"It's really light. As if there isn't anything in there." Evan said.

"Wonder what it is." Delirious said.

"Wonder who sent it." Scott said.

"It doesn't say." Evan said as he looked around the box. "Anyone have a box cutter?"
