Chapter 2

Your POV
After hours of shopping, it was finally 8:30pm. Your friends decided it was time to go to sleep. You had to drop them all off back at their homes. So you didn't get home till like 9:45pm. You were listening to the radio on your way home and they were talking about the Owl Crew had done another robbery and was a lot of shooting. You quickly drove home because it was dark outside and start to think about your mom's words. When you parked your car, you saw your neighbors also heading inside.

"Have a goodnight, (Y/N)" Your neighbors said. You smiled and waved.

"You too!" You said as they headed inside and turned off the lights. Everyone was all in their apartments and sleeping. You open your door and felt cold air hit your body. You shiver and turn on the lights. "I don't remember turning off the thermostat."

You walk inside and close the door. You put your bags down and walked to the thermostat. It was turned off. You shivered as you turned it back on. You turned on your tv and saw Bella. She went to your face and purred on your leg.

"Hey my Bella. Did you miss me?" You said going down to pick her up. "I'm sorry I wasn't with you today but I missed you, my little Bella."

You placed her back down and went to your shopping bags. You grabbed the games and walked to the tv where it had two tall shelves between it and placed the games in the shelf. You the bag away and grabbed the other bag with clothes and headed to your room. You were going to unlock until it was pushed and realized that it was unlocked again. You were getting paranoid. You turned on your lights and it was also cold.

"Why is it always cold when I come home?" You said to yourself. You put the clothes away. You let go of you ponytail and down came your (h/c) wavy long hair. You decided to keep your shoes on so your feet wouldn't be cold. You left your door open so it could get warm and passed by your other room until you heard something in there.

You stayed quiet and heard someone playing the guitar. Your eyes widened as you kept hearing the music play. Your heart raced. Was this burglar the reason why your apartment was always cold? Why the windows are unlock? Why the doors are unlock? You quickly and quietly walk to the kitchen. You grabbed a small kitchen knife, your purse, and your car keys. You grabbed your cat and head to the door while looking back to make sure the guy didn't come out the door. You bumped into someone. You turn around and you cat hissed. You saw a guy wearing a pig mask. Your heart was racing even faster than it already was.

"Trying to leave?" He said. He stepped in and you heard the bedroom door open. You look back to see three figures come out. You looked back to see the guy staring at you. He took a step closer and you pulled out the knife and scratch him. He winced in pain. You kicked him in his parts and he fell to the floor. You ran passed by him and ran downstairs to your car. You quickly ran to your car after going downstairs.

You had reached your car and out your cat inside until two arms wrapped around. You were going to scream until they covered your mouth with their hands. You bit their hand.

"OW!" He said. You start to struggle. Your cat started to attack the person. You turned to see it was a guy wearing an eagle mask. You kick the guy in his parts as well. He groaned and you picked up your cat. You turn to your car and saw five guys. The guy on the floor got up. It was six now. You were surrounded. Then, you recognize the masks. You started to shake.

"What do you want?!" You said sounding brave but freaking out on the inside. They didn't say anything. The one wearing a monkey mask grabbed your cat and put it in a cage. Your cat was hissing. Then the guy wearing a Finn mask and another guy wearing a creepy smiley face grab your arms. You were struggling. "Let me go!"

Then a van pulled up. You were pushing back.

"No! Leave me alone! Please! I'll do anything!" You said almost crying but didn't. They pushed inside the van. They hopped in. The one in the pig mask went to you and put a needle in your neck. You saw everything blurry. You could see them looking at you. Then, one of them spoke.
