Taehyung huffed as he usually did walking into the hospital for his usual hospital trip. It was time for the weekly thing he regretted, however today Taehyung seemed to oddly not hate the thought of going today. The only thing that really got to him was how he had to lug that awful oxygen tank everywhere.
He wasn't sure what was making him so excited but he had a feeling as he expected a certain face. Once he was out of his car he kept a careful eye out as he walked into the cancer part of the hospital. It was his usual walk and his usual route. However it was just a bit different as he looked around for that certain face. When he reached the desk to check in he didn't see that certain face. He figured he was thinking this over a little too much and once he sat down he took a moment to think. Why was he obsessing over this stupid little thing. Why was he thinking about the newcomer that was giving him emotions up and down? Why was he thinking about and getting excited for coming in to see him at chemotherapy? Why was his mind on Min Yoongi when he literally just met him?
"Taehyung!" A cheery female voice chirped. The other looked up and he rose his eyebrows before he got up and walked over. He smiled softly to his nurse he saw for every treatment. Eunha has been one of his main supporters, amongst his family and two friends, since the moment he got cancer. She was the nurse he was assigned to the moment he got chemotherapy and even though he wasn't romantically interested in her, she still made him feel safe when he came in.
"Afternoon Eunha...ready to poke me with needles as usual?" He asked with a sarcastic tone which made the other chuckle at him.
"You know I don't enjoy poking patients...but I do enjoy making you better...come on...your room is all set up." She said motioning for him to follow. Her ponytail swung when she turned and led the other back in the hallway filled with rooms for chemotherapy treatments. It was about the middle of the hallway before she opened the door and allowed Taehyung to walk in first before she followed in. She looked to the other and smiled. "Anything new Tae?" She asked as she walked over to the bed and set it up for Taehyung.
Taehyung walked over with his heavy tank and he took a seat before removing his jacket so Eunha would get access to his arm. He laid back against the bed as she began inserting all the stuff the treatment included into his arm and securing it with medical tape. "Nothing much, I've been working on a few paintings, but I've seemed to hit almost a block." He said.
She looked to him with a sigh. "You gotta find some inspiration then." She said before she was finished with all the needles and she turned to the machines and poked a few buttons. "I am sure you will though, even when you do...you find it super quickly though. Have you found any interested buyers?" She asked while pressing a button for a few seconds with a concentrated look.
"No...I've tried but there's been a lot on my mind..." He said and then he remembered Yoongi before he bit his lip. He hated even thinking about asking but he did anyway. "I've noticed a new patient...Min Yoongi I think his name was..." He said as he looked to her almost in a knowing look and she shot a look at him.
"You know, I am not allowed to share information about patients Tae..." She said with an eyebrow raise.
Taehyung sighed. "I know...but he happened to be at the same group meeting I was at and I just...I just grew curious about him..." He said as he felt the machines beginning to be turned on. He laid back and relaxed.
Eunha sighed. "All I can tell you is that he's getting close to beating his cancer, and he came from Seoul."
Taehyung tried not to react when he heard that Yoongi had been close to finishing. It made him almost envious at the other. He had been dealing with this for five months, but yet he had little to no progress, sure the doctors had told him that he was not growing any cancer. He just wish he didn't have it in his body anymore. "Yeah, he told me he came to Daegu..." He said.
She nodded before she made sure everything looked alright. "Alright...you're all set up...I will come back to check on you...do you need anything right now?" He asked.
"A thing of water as usual." He said with a small smile. Every time he did these his throat got really dry so he always requested the same thing and Eunha was always to deliver. He watched her leave and he frowned deeply as he remembered the fact that Yoongi was close to being done. He didn't want to be that person that was always jealous over every stupid little thing, but he wanted Yoongi's position. He wished to be cancer-free like him. He sighed and shook his head as he tried to forget it. He shouldn't worry about this stupid little thing.
Eunha got him his water before he pulled out his bag that had his usual items to keep him busy. The first thing he grabbed was his sketchbook he usually did doodles in while he dealt with these treatments. He really filled these things up fast with the most random things quickly. Once he flipped to a page he began to focus on that and sighed.
Somehow, he began to draw portraits. He drew various types of people, he drew a woman in her late adult years so he worked on some minor wrinkles she would have. Then he drew a younger girl who wasn't even ten yet and gave her little pigtails to show off her youth even more. Then he drew a male and he realized what he was doing and he stopped.
Why was he so obsessed with this man.
He closed the book and laid back with a sigh. Right now, what he needed was a good long nap. He turned on his soothing playlist on his phone and he closed his eyes which thankfully led to him drifting off.
Sort of a forced filler for you. But hey, Taehyung is obsessing over Min Yoongi, if that ain't a mood I don't know WHAT is.
Tell me what you thought!
Also vote and that stuff!
Thanks!
