"Get off me," I scream at my babysitter named John as he pulls my hair down the stairs.
"Bitch, get the fuck out." He pushes me outside in the freezing cold.
He slams the door leaving me in the patio. Where it's freezing and ice is under my feet. The only thing helping my feet is the welcome mat.
Great. It's Winter. I've been kicked out by my babysitter ot of my own house for not picking up my empty water bottle off the living room floor.
I walk down the stairs of the patio slowly, trying not to fall.
I need somewhere warm.
Somewhere ill feel safe.
I dont feel safe at home now. Thanks to him.
I walk on the sidewalk, shivering. I look at the houses I pass.
My eyes land on a house where the window is open and a boy around my age and a little girl around 5 or 6 are decorating a tree.
I've never met them.
I run over to the door and knock gently.
I shiver as I wait. The cold air blowing over my shoulders.
The door opens revealing the boy in a blue Christmas sweater.
"Oh my God. Get in." He pulls me in sweetly.
The warm condition in the house is way better than the freezing cold.
"What happened, dear?" A woman, im guessing his mom, comes around the corner.
"Just got kicked out by my babysitter." I frown, shivering. The aftereffects of the cold.
"Here." The little girl hands me a Christmas blanket, with Christmas trees and snowmen on it.
I smile softly and wrap it around my back.
"Thank you."
"Your welcome." She smiles, running back to the tree to decorate it more.
"Mike, bring her upstairs. I'll bring her some hot cocoa." The lady smiles, walking away.
"Follow." He huffs.
I follow him upstairs and into a very clean room.
"Here, just sit. I'll get you my older sister's clothes. I'm sure they'll fit. How old are you, 12?" He asks me.
I roll my eyes. Nothing new.
"No, im 15." I groan.
His eyes widen. "Shit im sorry I-"
"No, it's really nothing new. I forgive you." I chuckle, leaning back.
He chuckles too, grabbing a nightgown out of the basket near his door.
"Here." He throws it to me, landing on my lap.
He steps out of the room, letting me quickly change.
"Come in!" I call out, walking over to his nightstand and grabbing a hairbrush.
I brush it throughout my hair, as soft as it is.
"You look...nice." He says behind me.
I turn around and smile, continuing my hair.
"Thanks, I guess. It's cute." I point my head down at the nightgown. "It'll do."
"Can I ask you what happened if you don't mind?" He asks curiously, sitting on his bed.
I set down the hairbrush.
"Uh, my babysitter kicked me out cause I left an empty water bottle on the ground in the damn living room! It's not even his house!" I shout, sitting next to him.
"How rude." He says, leaning on his back, staring at the ceiling.
I turn to him.
"Why are you laying and staring at the blank ceiling?" I ask.
He shrugs. "Bored."
I look at him as he looks up. Why is he actually attractive?
I move a little closer and caress my fingers along his jawline.
"What are you doing-" "sh." I place my finger upon his lips.
He lowers his eyebrows as I lean in, my lips towering over his.
As soon as our lips are about to touch, his mom knocks. "Two hot chocolates! Ready up!"
I open my eyes.
"Shit. Sorry."
"One-second mom!" He shouts, leaning over me. "So what if she's out there? I'm getting that kiss."
He places his hands on my shoulders and presses his lips upon my soft ones.
Our lips move in sync until his mom knocks once again. "Coming mom!" He let's go, leaving me a blushing mess.
