"Mom?" I ask my mom for her attention.
She turns to me with her eyes off the TV.
   "Yes?"
"Can I walk to the store and get some chips?" I ask her sweetly.
She looks at me as if she's a skit for something.
"Please." I roll my eyes asking again.
She hands me five bucks and gets up to go to the bathroom.
I frown and walk out the door, shutting it behind me.
I walk down the sidewalk and look to the house next to mine.
I've always had a crush on Finn.
Finn Wolfhard.
Hes been an actor for a few years now and currently just got back from shooting IT chapter two.
I've had a crush on him since I first moved into this house when he was 9 and I was 8.
I always watch the films he's in to support him.
We never really talk either. I've maybe waved once and he's waved back and smiled the one smile I live for but that all.
The door opens as I walk past the door.
"Hey." I hear behind me call out quietly.
I turn around to see my celebrity crush, the one I've never planned on meeting.
    Even though I wished.
"Hi," I whisper, walking more faster. Though trying not to make it obvious.
"Hey, what's wrong?" He asks me,  touching my shoulder. Finn Wolfhard is touching my shoulder. My shoulder.
"Uh." I nervously chuckle and stop walking.
I turn to him beside me.
"I..." I quietly say. "I'm guessing you know me." He laughs slightly.
"Kind of," I say, looking up at him.
Our eyes meet. Making my heart pound.
"Where do you know me from?" He asks me, starting to walk again. I follow him behind a little. Making sure I dont seem like a dog on a leash.
"Not really anywhere." I perk up my voice to not seem like an over-obsessed fan. "I just know you from people around here. Then I watched a few of your films like IT and The Goldfinch and that's it."
"Who's your favorite character I play?" He asks curiously. I shrug.
"Probably Richie. And some Mike. And maybe Boris, Tyler, and Miles. Sorry, I can't choose. But if I had too, it going to be Richie for sure. I can just relate so well." I laugh.
    "That's cool." He says.
A moment of silence takes us over as we walk into the gas station.
I walk over to the chip aisle and grab a bag of potato chips.
After, I walk up to the counter.
I pay for my chips and walk out of the store, not waiting for Finn.
I'm scared im gonna say the wrong things.
I'm in love with him. It was hard enough of him talking to me.
Once I make it home after I ran all the way there.
I open the door and lock it.
I run-up to my room and shut the door, leaning against it and taking a deep breath.
   Fuck.
I drop the bag on the ground and fall onto my bed, staring at the ceiling.
  "Mom!" I call out.
Only to notice no one there.
  She left for her boyfriends.
Cool. Great. Fun. Amazing.
I get up off my bed and run downstairs into the kitchen.
"Time to make a sandwich for dinner. The fucking 14th time." I groan, grabbing two slices of bread.
I take off a slice of turkey and put it on my bread.
After, I take a bite when im did making it.
I grab the remote as I plop on the couch.
I turn on IT chapter one.
I smile as Richie comes on. My favorite character obviously.
"Yeah? Try tickling your pickle for the first time." I follow after Richie's line.
"Be spending it inside your mom-" I get interrupted by the doorbell ringing.
I drop the remote and run up quietly to the door.
I lean up and look through the window at the top but im too short.
I look down at the lock and unlock it, putting my hand on the doorknob.
I turn it as the TV rings in my ears of the voice of the losers.
I swing open the door to see nothing.
  Absolutely nothing.
I roll my eyes, shutting the door.
Only for someone to scare me.
I jump in fear squinting my eyes after my scream hurt my head.
I open one eye to see Finn.
"You asshole." I laugh.
"I have a surprise." He smirks.
"What is it?"
"It's in my bag." He grins, walking inside my house.
  I shut the door.
"I want you to guess." He turns to me.
    "Uh, food?" I ask him.
"Nope." He chuckles.
"Hint. Do you got a straightener?" He asks.
   I nod. Still confused.
"Look." He kneels down and sets the bag on the floor, opening it.
He lifts up the part and in there, are 80's clothing.
  Not just any.
A few specific.
"Here we have the iconic Mike Wheeler outfit. You know, the yellow shirt and jean blazer thing. I dont know." He shrugs.
"Then the iconic Richie Tozier Hawaiian shirt. And the Tyler pizza shirt from Dog Days."
"And lastly, the sweater from when I was Boris. Plus the extra one from when I was Miles." He holds up two sweaters.
    "No way." I smile.
"Yes, way." He looks down. "Who first?"
