Jazz may have gone a bit crazy with breakfast. She made a dozen chocolate chip pancakes, an entire pack of bacon, half a dozen scrambled eggs, and two giant chocolate muffins.

"Jazz," I mumbled, staring at all the food she has placed on the table.

"Yes little brother," she smiled and placed the final pan of food on the table.

"Isn't this a bit much?"

"Maybe, but I thought we could reheat some food and eat it for later. That way we don't have to wait and cook again," she pulled out of the chair and sat down, piling food on top of her plate in the process.

"Okay," I sat down and put a scoop of eggs on my plate, Three strips of bacon, and two pancakes. Saving the huge muffin for later. I take my fork and move the food around on my plate and cutting off a small piece of the pancake. Still looking down at my plate I glance up at Jazz to see her watching me. Not wanting her to feel like she cooked all this for nothing, I stab the piece of pancake and slowly eat it. Before I knew it I was shoveling food into my mouth not realizing how hungry I was before.

After I finished my first plate I got another scoop of eggs and a few more strips of bacon before I could finally call my full. I leaned back and stretched, sighing when I could feel my back pop. Relaxing once more I breath out and notice my breath was blue. I tense and jump up to transform. Then my vision swam, giving Jazz enough time to grab my arm and sit me back down.

"Danny leave it to mom and dad," I could only nod in agreement with my eyes squeezed shut. The world still hadn't finished spinning and I would do anything to make it stop . It finally went away after a minute and I was able to open my eyes to find Jazz crouching in front of me with her hands on my shoulders. "Are you okay?"

"Y-yeah," I cringe when I hear my voice crack. Jazz hands me a glass of water and I smile weakly in thanks before taking a few small sips. When I handed Jazz the glass to put on the table she hand on my forehead.

"You don't have a fever but you're paler than normal," she contemplates. "C'mon Danny let's get you to bed, maybe all you need is a good rest before you start feeling better."

I stumble as I try to stand up so Jazz has to help me up the stairs and to my room. I mumble a short apology when I finally make it to my bed.

"It's fine Danny, I would bring you medicine but we don't have anything but medicine for pain. Mom and Dad never buy anything other than that, they probably think we never get sick," she scoffs. "Well, I'll leave you alone so you can rest. You better rest Danny, no going ghost." She threatens.

"Okay mom," I mock.

"Oh shush. Goodnight," she smiles before turning my light off.

"Goodnight," I curl into myself before falling to sleep.
