October 4th, aka Jordyn's day to choose. So, of course, she chose something that would scar everyone else emotionally.

"We're going to a haunted house!" She yelled as she ran into the library. The group was staying after school in the library to study for their recent upcoming tests. They had been there for about an hour before Jordyn got bored and left to get a snack from the vending machine. Guess she had her amazing idea during her walk there.

Apparently, Jordyn didn't understand the proper etiquette for a library and continued to not understand when the librarian aggressively shushed her.

She ran up to the group's table where almost everyone was looking at her as if she grew a second head. The only one not looking at her was Roman, but that's because he was used to her sh*t. She was his twin after all; he had to deal with her his whole life.

When nobody said anything, Jordyn rhetorically asked/yelled, "Did you guys hear me or do I have to yell it louder? We're going to a haunted house! Pack up your stuff and let's go!"

Roman sighed. "Sure. Whatever." He knew her well enough to know she wasn't going to give up easily.

"Roman! You know I'm terrified of those things!" Jason whined.

"She's stubborn, so we're all going whether we like it or not. Plus, that means you'll be clinging on to me all night. I'd say it's more than worth it," he smirked.

Jason pouted. "That's not fair."

"Too bad!" Jordyn said. "It's my day to choose, and I want to go to a haunted house!"

Cat clapped excitedly. "I like it!"

Nick shrugged. "I honestly don't care."

"Wrong answer," Cat corrected.

"It would be my greatest wish to do so," Nick fixed with a fake smile. But since Cat kissed his cheek it turned into a genuine, sheepish grin.

Jordyn looked at Jackson expectantly. He, on the other hand, didn't know what was going on. He was too busy listening to the Hamilton Soundtrack while studying to notice anything. The only reason he looked up in the first place was that Jason nudged his shoulder.

Slowly taking out his earbuds, he stared back at Jordyn with a confused look. "Yes?"

"Haunted house today. Yes or no? There is a right answer."

Sh*t, she was glaring at him. His eyes grew wide in panic. He turned quickly to Jason and whispered, "What is it?"

"I can't help you. She'll see me as an accomplice if you get it wrong," Jason whispered back.

"Whatever, but what side are you on?"

"Against. Haunted houses scare the spirits out of me."

Jackson nodded before turning back to Jordyn. "Um, I don't know. I have a lot of homework and studying to d-"

He was interrupted by Jordyn's intensified glare as she leaned over him intimidatingly. "We're all going. Understand?"

"Yes ma'am," he squeaked.

Then she stepped back with a kind smile. "Great! Let's go!"

Cat excitedly followed as she left for the car. Nick was right behind her, not seemingly bothered by anything that just happened.

"She's terrifying. But I think I look up to her," Jackson whispered in awe and fear to himself.

Jason nodded as if that was normal. "She has that effect on people. Now let's go and get scared to death!"

That night ended as they all expected. Jason ran through the haunted house as fast as he could to get it over with. Along with staying over at Roman's house and cuddling him for protection from any monsters.

Jordyn loved it, going repeatedly through. She even struck up a conversation with one of the demon actors. Jackson stayed by her at all times. It was like she was untouched by fear, so he stayed close for protection. Cat was excited at first but walked out crying, and Nick was consoling her with words and hugs. But that didn't mean he wasn't finding the situation amusing. Every time he let out a chuckle, Cat was weakly hit his shoulder before hugging him tightly.

So, all in all, the night was pretty good.
