chapter 03

Richie Tozier

I was just joking but I was still staring at him why was he red maybe he likes m- Nah I doubt that he's not gay I don't think. I then asked, "are you guys still coming over tonight to investigate, " everyone said yeah except Eddie my mom said no but then I said I was going to bills and she reconsidered!" I roll my eyes then Bill says, " it's pr-pr-probably not even hun-hunted, ".

"I actually heard something I'm as dead ass as how much Bill won't ask out Beverly Marsh, " he then said, "sh-sh-shut up!" I laughed.

"I'm so glad we get out of school for summer break soon," three days to be exact not counting the weekend "I'm so excited to get out of this hell hole!" I say excitedly.

"Let's meet outside of the school," Stanley said

After a little while we met up

[cuts into Richie and Eddie's conversation]

Eddie: "I don't have my bike I left it at home,"

Richie: "what the fuck do you mean left your bike?"

Richie: "Eds fine just get on the back of mine,"

Eddie makes a weird uncomfortable expression

Richie: "I know but it's only really gay if you hold on really tight,"'

Richie laughs

Richie: "What dumbass forgets his bike?"

Eddie: "you know shut the fuck up rich,"

Eddie kaspbrak

He snickered he was so irritating I got on the rear of the bike as he was grinning I was holding on to him but not tight until he started going really quickly he was always the conclusive person in the group when he was riding by himself.

why the hell is he going so fast.

I held on pretty tight he was laughing ugh he's so irritating it's cute, that smirk I must've looked so flustered.

he was turning red as I looked back for a second he looked scared which made me slow down.

He was a flustered mess and he was still holding on tight to my waist he was so cute it made me smirk.

I don't know why but I like bothering him he's very fragile and cute it's comical but it just makes me feel... I don't know it's not as simple, I don't have a
word for it.

Eddie kaspbrak

We stop by his house which is two blocks away from Bill's house. We then dropped off our bikes and went inside Richie's mom wasn't there yet which was why my mom was being more dramatic then usual plus Richie's house is awesome, his mom is so chill and cool and he always has the good snacks like fruit gushers my personal favorite and other snacks like bagel bites, squeeze pops, dunkaroos, yoohoos, and star crunch.

His mom was seriously the best she was also really nice and she's a stewardess that's why she wasn't there Richie looks a lot like her.

we go up to his room it's full of comedians and funny movie posters he didn't like clowns or horror movies it was kinda cute he always had a tough guy act yet he was so cutely soft.

Then Bill said, "wh-wh-we should guh-go to see that new hu-hu-horror movie," Richie makes an uncomfortable face I laughed then said, "We should go tonight!" Everyone was sold and Richie was fake sold.

We were planning to go at 9:30 because that's when his mom goes to sleep typically she gets here at 8:40.
Richie seemed nervous so I brushed my hand on his arm "by accident" he got startled and then continued looking at the blank white wall in his room.

His mom didn't come back yet and it was 9:31 so Richie called her and said, "we might be asleep when you get here,". We put pillows in our sleeping bag to make them look like people were in them.

I forgot my jacket, yes I know it's summer but in Derry, it's hot during the day but at night very cold I guess Richie noticed and said shyly, "Eds here have my jacket," I blushed brightly then said, "um you sure I don't want you to be cold?" He chuckled then said, "I'm good I'll put on my leather jacket," I put on his jacket it smelled like him like cologne and coconuts from the shampoo he uses he smells really good. The others get ready and we put our money together.

We got on the bikes to ride there me still on the back of Richie's bike this time he's slower thank god...

we got our tickets when we got inside we assigned jobs me and Richie were on snacks duty and Stanley and Bill on seats. We waited in line awkwardly he was fidgety it was weird he was completely silent.

It was our turn to order he readjusted his cute round glasses and ordered he got a Lemonheads for me without me even asking. I mean how did he know when I forgot about them? well, I suppose he was just being a good friend I think...

Alongside that he also got beverages, and popcorn we got those stuff and made our way to the theater.

We looked around a bit then spotted them. Next to them were two seats. When we sat down Bill didn't even notice he was in the middle of speaking he was talking about someone liking someone else,"I th-th-think they luh-like each other be-," he got startled by us they acted pretty weird when we sat down I handed them their drinks. Richie looked stressed his cheek was laying on his hand I snapped my finger in his face and then said, "movies about to start!" He snapped out of it.

I do not want to be here ugh fuck this why am I here I hate scary movies maybe it's Eddie I am sitting really close only a armrest in the middle blocking us.

The movie starts the lights go down as we watch the credits I move my arm around Eddie he then moved a bit closer laying on me on the screen was a clown I jumped back scared grabbing on to his hand he then stiffened scared of me moving so abruptly. I squeezed it not purposely but his hand felt good in mine so I didn't put it back around him.

He then asked Bill for popcorn he grabbed it with one hand he then whispered in a soft voice "want some?" he looked really attractive in the light from the screen beaming in his face and his breath smells fruity I grabbed the popcorn with both hands and eat some then I spot him staring at me cutely then I say awkwardly," thanks Eds," he then says, "yeah sure rich," then looks back at the screen and I intertwine our hands after passing the  popcorn back to Bill.

He then blurted out, " your hands are nice, " he blushes I pretended like I didn't hear him "what happened?" I asked he blushed then said shyly, "nuh-nothing," he's the cutest at this point I wasn't thinking about the stupid movie.

He was still leaning on me I looked over to Bill and Stanley fist bumping looking at us when they saw that I saw them they pretended like they were watching the movie,"what happened?" I pretended as nothing happened that was weird "dude pass the popcorn," I say whispering Bill passes it to Eddie who passes it to me I ate some then kept it on my thighs Eddie grabbed some ever now and then

when the movie was done we got up we made our way outside.

I was holding Eddie's hand while Stanley was talking about the stupid movie saying stuff like,"that wouldn't actually happened, ".

until I saw Henry and his goons he kicked me hard in my leg and said, "oOoOO watch out four eyes, " Eddie throws a glass bottle from the floor at Henry he fell his goons trying to help him "Richie come on!" He pulls me up off the dirty floor this time he is in the front me holding on to his waist my leg felt like shit, oh my fucking God he hit me hard I feel blood.

We went inside Stanley and Eddie that I'm holding on to we sneak to my room Eddie says, "lay down I'm going to get you some ice!" he runs downstairs to get ice I assume he then runs back in not longer then 7 seconds he pulls up my left jean leg exposing my bloody knee he gets his alcohol pad and rubs it which stings I flench a bit he then puts a regular tissue which stops the bleeding then he ices it and puts toilet paper around it.
