The REAL Bobby

Confessions

MC blinks, confused and steps closer to him. She rests a gentle palm against his cheek and brings his lips up to meet hers.

"I could never hate you," she whispers.
Bobby sighs, "um ok basically you know I've struggled with cash. I've always dreamed of owning my own bakery and I knew this show and the prize money could make that happen..my friends convinced me to join and try to get to the finale and take the money. I decided to listen to them. But then I met you and it made my plan a lot harder."
MC retracts her hand and listens silently. Every muscle in her body is tense
"I'm so sorry. I'm obviously not going to do that anymore. But i knew I needed to tell you before someone else did." Bobby looks at her and grabs her hand
She is frowning, completely dumbfounded. "Rahim was right then?"
Bobby nods slightly. "When I arrived on the island we all said what we were her for ..I said money."
MC nods thoughtfully, her eyes studying his face. "So when did that change? When did you stop using me for sexual acts?"

She can hear the anger in her own voice but she doesn't give a fuck
"What..no I did I just didn't realize how much. I said I was sorry I don't know what else I'm supposed to say." Bobby looks at her and notices her face is emotionless. "Please..I'm falling for you so hard and I just can't have you hate me."
"I was going to tell you that I love you earlier," she mumbles, brows furrowed. "But i don't know if I even know you anymore."
"Love? Look Mc I am sorry I hurt you but like it's only been a few weeks here. I really don't know what to tell you besides I'm sorry. I really do like you and I'm telling you how I feel."
MC nods, abrupt. "Okay."

She flashes him an emotionless smile and turns towards the bedrooms, she needs more sleep if she's going to bring him down to his knees
Bobby awkwardly follows her and slips into the bed he goes to cuddle her. He feels like he doesn't belong
MC doesn't move away but she doesn't move towards him either. Her bones are tensed, and she forces herself to sleep
Bobby falls asleep quickly, as it's now late and he hasn't been sleeping well
