"Well isn't this interesting."
Quinn jumped at the sound of the voice over her shoulder. She swivelled around to see Summer standing behind her, looking at what she was reading on her laptop screen.
                              "Research," Quinn replied.
"Oh, sure it is," Summer said, giggling. "On your new favourite topic."
"Researching the Holloway family has always been my favourite topic," Quinn replied flippantly.
"But more so now," Summer pointed out.
"Maybe. Summer, I've got the most amazing lead on a new story about all the misdeeds of Dylan and Martin Holloway."
"Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but are you, or are you not, dating one of the Holloway's?"
                              "Yes."
"So don't you think he might just be a little pissed if you're doing yet another article on his family?"
"Not at all. Gray gave me the information."
                              "He gave it to you?"
"Yeah. I just need to do a little more digging. Wow, some of the people involved. Did you know Martin Holloway had lunch with the Prime Minister right before plans for a wind farm was declined for approval?"
"I don't get what that has to do with Martin Holloway?"
"He owns a small coal mine on the South Coast so renewable energy is a threat to his business."
"Fascinating. Quinn, why has Gray asked you to write a shaming story about his family?"
"Oh, right, you wouldn't know about any of this yet. Don't worry. It will be in this afternoon's edition of the news."
                              "What will be?"
"Martin and Dylan have been arrested. There is now conclusive evidence that they were responsible for the image doctoring scandal and that Dylan was trying to frame Gray and me for it."
"Wait, what? How come I didn't know any of this?" Summer asked, concern on her face.
Quinn turned and looked at her friend. "Because being involved with a Holloway is complicated work. I couldn't talk about it to anyone until all the evidence was in place and the arrests were made."
Summer just stared back at her a moment, her sparkling blue eyes assessing her. "Are you sure it's such a good idea to be dating him? I mean, he's gorgeous, he's rich and seems like a nice guy and..."
"And he gives me orgasms," Quinn whispered.
"Okay and there's that," Summer agreed. "But all of this other baggage that goes along with him, it has me a little concerned."
"Everything is great now that his dad and brother are out of the picture. Gray even said so and I trust him."
"If you're sure," Summer said, but Quinn could tell she was not entirely convinced. "Just remember, I can always set you up with one of Dave's mates. Dash Tobin is recently single."
Quinn wrinkled her nose. "I don't do footballers."
Summer leant in close to her ear. "You should," she said and winked. "Drinks on Friday, okay?" Summer said and returned to her workstation.
Quinn smiled and looked back at her laptop screen. She still couldn't believe half of the stuff she was uncovering on the Holloway's. Oh to be a fly on the wall during that lunch date between Martin and the Prime Minister. But then, businessmen did this type of thing all the time to protect their interests. Even Gray had admitted to doing it.
