Hi all! Just making it clear that this story is now just about completely abandoned and I regret the glorification of the topics I was talking about. I'm keeping it up for memories, but I've given up coming back to it every year or so just to try to justify the earlier plot.
If it's any condolence, here's what I still remember about what I planned would happen when I started writing 5 years ago:
- The characters escape to the night life of Vegas or somewhere similar
- Addie was lied to, her parents AREN'T dead and she was actually kidnapped
- But they do end up dying by the end anyway
- There's at least one chapter that would've taken place during a masquerade
- One of the guys dies after falling over a cliff face (it's all v dramatic)
- Addie has to fight whatever guy is left (I think maybe with a gun?) because surprise! Pedoph3lia and kidnapping is bad and even though I'd never write it as a plot point again I was never going to see it through here
- Not sure if I planned out what happens to Addie at the end but I assume she makes her way back home and has to live all traumatized with different guardians.
