It was the next morning and Evelyn was sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee in her hands, and a collage on her lap.
"Whatcha got there?" Without turning around Evelyn knew who it was .
"Photos. Of Claire." She replies shortly.
Seth came to sit by her.
"We're going to find her ya know." He asked hoping to get a reaction out of her, she's been out of it for las few days. But who could blame her.
" I know. I know you will because I don't know what I'm going to do if you don't."
It was silent between them for a short while,Evelyns laughter cut it.
"It was her first birthday here, I gotten her this bright pink cake, and somehow she got it everywhere on herself on the floor." Her laughter soon turned into sobs.
"I need her Seth. She has made me better person and if I lose her I am nothing."
Seth gave her a hug,instead of trying to trying to talk to her about it, he decided to point out Claire's first Christmas.
"Ya know her favorite gift was mine." He said boasting.
Chuckling Evelyn wiped away her tears,"Yes it was, how could it not be?! A 6ft best for a foot tall toddler.She screamed so loud that morning I swore I went deaf."
Seth and Evelyn were interrupted by Embry rushing up to them.
"The Cullens got a scent."
