It was a sunny day on the La Push reservation, and to travelers, it would seem like a normal day but for the Neighboring people in La Push, it was a rare day that they would use to their full extent.
The Clearwaters were hosting a Barbeque at their house and the majority of the reservation was attending.
'Mama come on we're gonna be late!' Claire says in a whining voice
Evelynn gives her daughter a look,' Claire, The party started 5 minutes ago, we live like two minutes away, besides just tell your friends that you're fashionably late.' She said chuckling
With a thoughtful look on her face, Claire replies,'True, true.'
Evelynn hops into the driver's seat and makes her way to the Clearwater home.
'Mama?'
'Mhm?'
'Do you have my swimsuit?'
'Yep, it's in the back with the casserole.'
Time Skip to the Party
'Claire! My baby how are you?!' Sue asks rushing over
'I good! I lost my first tooth! The tooths fairy gave me 2 dollars!' The little girl replied jumping up and down, having trouble with her words since she lost her tooth.
'Oh dear! you're getting so big! Seth is over there with the Boys but-' Before she could finish her sentence Claire was sprinting across the yard over to boys, knowing Quil was sure to be there.
Laughing Evelynn struck up a conversation with Paul who appeared out of thin air, as usual, this time she was blabbering.
Claire's POV
'And then the Lion defeated the wolf and saved the sheep, and they lived happily ever after the end.'
'Ahh, that was nice, but I thought that storks only deliver regular babies?' Claire asked Quil
' Well, there are other storks, The animal baby storks, and the regular baby storks.'
'Oh, ok.' I say hopping off Quil's lap.
Quil's really cool, he is my best friend, but don't tell Chip that, he's my woodpecker.
'𝒞𝓁𝒶𝒾𝓇𝑒...𝒞𝓁𝒶𝒾𝓇𝑒 𝒸𝑜𝓂𝑒 𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝐼'𝓋𝑒 𝑔𝑜𝓉 𝒸𝒶𝓃𝒹𝓎...' a soft velvet voice filled Claire's ear, it was coming towards the woods.
Walking into the woods it was eerily silent, there were no birds chirping like before, a hand clamped down onto Claire's shoulder, and she screamed before everything went black.
Evelynn POV
'But I mean I understood it was probably a harsh day for her, but she didn't have to say that and so rudely too! I just-' Paul interrupted her by giving her a peck on the lips.
' You know, I really think you stress too much, just take a deep breath.'
'Yea stresses, you' re right-' She was interrupted by a scream, Claire's scream.
Sooo Cliffhanger!!!! I know it's short but I am having writer's block as of lately it was really hard to get this chapter out so please if you have any suggestions please pm me and I will do my best to incorporate it into my story
