Wars of the Wealthy

I sit here and wonder

What pulls my world asunder

Out there lives a nation

Their lives governed by dictation

Daily loss is a norm

Left with no choice but to conform

No age nor gender inequality

Nothing said about formality

Its where you are and who you know

To keep alive, watch where you go

Little cries are echoed

Through streets and homes

No thoughts are thought twice

About how they would suffice

Let it be told

That life is like gold

To take from another

Is worse than pulling their world asunder

Let it be heard

That you shall no longer be feared

For life is such

That though they may not have much

Within their hearts

Lie hopes and dreams

Of a world unknown

A beauty to behold

Indeed, it is their goal
