Riley's POV

It had been a long night. I just wanted to go home, not to the hotel or anything. I wanted to go back home to California. I grabbed my phone and flipped it open. I went to my contacts and found Ashley's number. I started walking as it rang a few times but then went to her voicemail. I ended up at the bridge and I just sat down.

"Hey, I know you aren't going to get this for a while, umm I just need someone to talk to. There has been so much going on the past few weeks and I'm sorry I haven't talked to you as much I should have. I'm an awful friend but I need a good venting session and you are the only person I can really talk to, well I mean I could talk to Tyler but he wouldn't really understand. Umm, bye love you please call me back when you get a second." I cried into the phone.

I just sat there for a little bit, just thinking about basketball, my family, how I miss my friends back in Cali and finally Lucas,Nathan and Dan. That was my main thought. I couldn't believe after all of these years I had finally found out who my real dad was. I found out that he's a huge prick who abandoned not just one but two kids. It was just mind boggling to me that he could just abandoned us like that. No explanation or anything, just leaving us. The tears were just pouring at this point. It was just me and my thoughts.

"Hey, is everything ok?" This handsome guy walked over to me.

"Umm, yeah, everything is just fine." I say wiping away the tears.

"Dude, you clearly aren't fine other wise you wouldn't be crying. And its fine you don't have to tell a stranger what's wrong. I'm just gonna sit with you though. I know when I'm upset having someone there is better than not." He sat next to me and smiled. "Oh, I'm Noah by the way." He reached out his hand for me to shake it.

"Riley." I smiled and took his hand. We sat there in a comfortable silence for a few minutes. "Hey thank you for sitting with me, it really means a lot."

"Hey, anytime! And maybe next time if you wanna talk or if you just want to hang out give me a call." He said as he handed me a napkin with his number sloppily written on it.

"I would love to take you up on that offer." I laughed, I took the pen he had just used to write his number. I grab his hand and write mine. "Just in case you need someone too."

I got up and started walking to the cafe. I was meeting Haley there for a study session. As I get up to the cafe I see Haley walk out and Lucas chase her out.

"Haley, how long are we gonna do this?" Lucas asks.

"Do what?" Haley questions. I take this as my opportunity to turn the other way and start to walk away. I know I should probably help with this drama, but I don't know what to say, I hate Nathan as much as the next person but if Haley has reason to trust him I should too. But if I said that to Lucas we probably wouldn't be friends any more. I start walking around the block, just wondering what is going to happen with them. As I turn the corner I get a text from Haley saying that she wont be able to make it to the study session. I just keep walking and I hear my phone start to ring. My heart starts to flutter. I look down to see it was just Ashley.

"Hey!" I answer.

"Hey girl, what did you want to talk to me about." That was when I unloaded. I told her about making the basketball team, to finding out I have two more brothers, to the party and to Noah who I had just met not even a few hours ago.

"Girl, now I know why you haven't been able to talk, you've been caught up in so much drama. I forgive you by the way, well actually I wasn't mad in the first place, I know moving around is difficult. I would be pretty pissed if you hadn't talked to me after like two months of living there. Ok enough about all that drama now tell me about that dude you met earlier."
