The Meeting
We sat in silence as people were sitting up and rubbing their eyes. I quietly backed out of the room followed by Gena. We walked down the halls until we found a room with light. We were both clinging on to each other like we were walking through a haunted house. We crept in the room to se a couple people all ready. The room was done up like a cafe. The ceiling was made of glass exposing the moon and stars. Their was five round tables with four seats at each. Potted plants were scattered around the room and their was medieval style banners scattered around the room on walls. It was pretty cool besides the fact that I had no idea what was going on. The floor was cobble like in Germany and old fashioned European Villages. A girl sat quietly at a table with no one else at it. She had shoulder length blonde hair and glasses. She had headphones too. A girl sat with fire style hair at a different table and was flicking a lighter on and off repeatedly.
A girl with blonde and green hair was normally sitting and excitedly waved us over. We shyly walked over and sat down. She looked like a generally nice person and not a bit nervous. She actually calmed me down a bit. She looked like she was about to say something when the big doors to the cafe swung oped and four figures walked in. One was the boy in front of me with the fezz hat. His hoodie was underneath it and was covering his eyes. A small girl stuck close to him. She had rosey red shaded hair and was wearing a sweater. She looked like she was younger than all of us. Her light pink shaded eyes were wide open and she was scanning the area. Following them was a talk girl with long dark brown hair that reminded me of spruce wood and pale skin. She was wearing light snow gear. She must've been from a cold place.
Last was the boy I stepped on. I flinched and looked away. His fingers were swollen and he was clutching his hand. I think I broke his pinky finger too. Finally very one filled through the doors and started to seat them selves. I tried to look away but I got eye contact with the guy that I stepped on. He sat right next to me.
- I'm so sorry! I was really stressed and stuff so I wasn't looking where I was going!- I apologized when he sat down. He looked at me and cracked a painful smile.
- Well I guess I won't be playing goalie at all. I came here because I'm great at soccer. I'm Jay you?- I sighed with relief that he didn't get mad at me and stretched out my left hand so if wouldn't hurt his good on.
- I'm Liv. I came here for creativity and ideas.- he looked at me confused and bit his lip.
- I mean I'm good at doing most creative things like art, stories, cooking, fencing, stuff like that.-
- Okay. That makes sen-
Lanterns flickered on all around us and everybody started to stand up. Some looked worries. Some looked anxious. I found myself somewhere in between. The double doors of the entrance flew open and a speaker crackled to life.
@ALL STUDENT FOLLOW THE ARROWS TO THE GYMNASIUM. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CORPORATION.@
Everybody started to mumble and say things that didn't make sense. I filed out the door with everyone else. Gena and I pressed up to each other and the crowd moved on.
Shroom! An arrow that was flaming passed five feet above us leaving sparks to follow. Everyone remained silent and move on. We eventually arrived to a huge door that had a bronze door knob on it. A girl who had purple eyes moved to the front and confidently opened the door. Inside was a normal gym with some banners, coat of arms, and knight in armor standing their guard on the walls. to Now that I think of it saw a few and the hallways too.
Every body took a seat on the bleachers when a knight in armor moved. It walked strait up to the stage and took its stance. It shrunk before our very eyes and turned into a small dark grey iron and marble white bear. It had a glowing red eye and it's armor looked dangerous. Besides that it was half black half white. Every body in the room gasped.
The teddy moved. What should we do.- The young girl spoke out everyone's thoughts and we all turned to Each other and started to consult.
-Welcome students!- the bear spoke with out moving its twisted smile. The room was quiet then.
-DARK MAGIC! EVERYBODY RUN!- a boy with blonde hair spoke and after that it was chaos. I'm pretty sure I saw the young girl slug some one across the face. Gena was sprinting all over the place and I climbed under the bleachers to try to not get hurt. A couple people joined me. All I could see was blurred shapes and people falling over.
-ENOUGH!!!- the bear screamed into the microphone and everyone sat down.
-Finally. Welcome students! I am your prince able . You will treat me with respect or you will suffer consequences.- When he said consequences he slide out razor sharp claws and everyone took in a breath for air.
