McKenzie covers her mouth and starts to cry

She sobbes into her hands

McKenzie: No your not Josh, you practically cut your whole arm off!!
She was practically screaming her lungs out at this point
Josh: Please don't yell at me
She calms down and pushes Josh's chin so he can look at her
McKenzie: Just answer me one question.. Why? Why did you do this to yourself??
Josh: Why else McKenzie?! I have nothing to live for. My parents died, my sister is gone and won't even answer or return my calls, and my crush... (A tear rolls down his cheek) my crush doesn't even know how I feel about her
McKenzie:(she's sad that she isn't Josh's crush) Josh you have to tell your crush
Josh: She just got out of an abusive relationship and I don't think she's ready to jump into another relationship
McKenzie stays quiet and continues to bandage Josh's knuckles.

Josh's POV
Its been 6 months since what happened that night. Kenzie and I have just stayed best friends and I haven't told her how I feel. She's been going out a lot lately and bringing guys home
McKenzie: Josh I'm going out
Josh: *walks into their room* (yes they share a room) You've been going out so much lately, what's going on with you?
McKenzie: *annoyed* Nothing Josh I just wanna go out! Why are you controlling me?!
Josh: I'm not- you know what, go. Go out. Go do whatever the hell you want. I don't give a fuck. I'm tired if trying to make you happy and keep you safe. I'm done
McKenzie: Josh I'm so-
Josh: FuCk OfF *slams the door to the guest bedroom*
*time skip to later that night*
Still Josh's POV
I go to the kitchen to get a bottle of water when I hear the door open
I see McKenzie come in with a bunch if guys. I look more closely and realize its all of my friends. Anthony, Jaden, Chase, Payton, Sam, and Noen.
