McKenzie's POV It's been a week since me and Josh kissed. We haven't really said anything about it but we've just been hanging out a lot more. I really like him and I want to tell him but I just feel like it's too soon with both of our breakups. My thoughts get interrupted by Josh walking into my room. Josh:Hey Kenz. I was wondering if you wanted to go to the beach with me? McKenzie:Yeah of course Josh. What time? Josh: 7 and wear a dress. McKenzie: uhm okay haha *giggles a bit* Josh: Great! See you at 7! McKenzie: wait where are you going? It's only 1. Josh: I have some things to do. Bye! And with that he walks out of my room and shuts the door behind him. Well I have some time to relax and then get ready
Josh's POV After I asked out McKenzie, I quickly left the room and ran back to mine to grab my keys. I got in my car and drove to Target. When I walk in I go straight to Starbucks and get McKenzie's favorite drink. A Venti iced caramel macchiato with extra caramel. Then I get myself a Venti iced latte with almond milk, cold foam, caramel drizzle with less ice. I ask for less ice cause the put to much ice in it (A.N. yes that's Josh's real Starbucks order. My friend has a friend that works in the Starbucks in Canada where Josh lives and has seen him before :)) Then I run to the isle and get a lot of bags with rose petals in them. And then I get a big poster board with markers and some glue sticks. Then I go get construction paper. After that I run to the electronics isle and buy some of McKenzie's favorite movies. Then I go to the room decor and buy some fairy lights and some blankets and pillows. Finally I go to the camping section and get a big tent. I walk to the check out line and wait. After the lady scans everything, I look at the total to see that its almost $200. Wow. Well I don't really care because I love her and I want this night to be special for her. I get done paying and I'm almost running to the car to get my stuff in so I can go set up. I get in the car as quick as possible and look at the time. Damnit it's almost 3. I think we still have time. I start to speed to the beach to get everything set up. I finish setting things up and it look like this

I look at the time and see that its 6. I have just enough time to go home and get ready. I get ready and come back wearing this.

3rd person POV They get in the car and drive to the beach. Once they get there he leads her toward the tent. Once they got to the tent, Josh hold up a big sign that says " will you be my girlfriend?" She starts to tear up
