Josh's POV
I go to Nessa's house and we just chill there. I've been thinking about what I said to McKenzie and I feel like it was the wrong thing to say. But no, your with Nessa now you can't be thinking about McKenzie.
Josh: hey Nessa can I ask you something?
Nessa: yeah what's up?
Josh: I was wondering if uh...you wanted to be my uhm... girlfriend?
Nessa: of course Josh I would love too!
We kiss

Meanwhile...

McKenzie's POV

I stair at the door and just cry. I can't believe said all those things to me. I sit down in the floor and cry more. I feel someone hug me from behind, it was Payton. I've always had a crush on Payton. But I had a crush on Josh first.

Payton: c'mon let's go upstairs
McKenzie: *sniffles* o-ok
We go upstairs and he starts to undress me, he made me out on one of his hoodies and sweats. We lay down together and just cuddle, I haven't felt this in such a long time, I felt safe in his arms. I slowly fall asleep in his arms listening to his heartbeat.

Payton's POV

I take McKenzie upstairs and tell her to put on one of my sweats and sweatshirts. We lay down and just cuddle, right now she's asleep. She looks so peaceful sleeping. I've always had a crush on her, but since I knew Josh liked her I never went for it. Now I think it's my chance to go for it.

*Time skip 2 hours*

I wake up and see McKenzie is not with me, I hear the shower running. She must be in the shower. As soon as she gets out I'm gonna ask her out. This may not be the right time but I don't care, I've waited so long to do this.
