What's the best day of the year if you're trying to hide from the police?
Halloween.
- You get to disguise yourself as whatever you'd like without anyone batting an eyelash.
This year, we've decided to dress up as an angel and the devil.
Finn. The angel who swooped in to save me at the last second.
And I. The devil that ultimately ruined his life like all things around me.
Not only is it so unbelievably overrated that we'll blend right in, but it's the cheapest to buy at some costume shop.- Crime rates double on Halloween night.
Finn is surprisingly good at robbing drunk people. Especially when they're stumbling back home from a night out. All he has to do is whip out a knife and shout a bit before they start handing us the money. Although Finley says he has morals, he knows we've got gas to pay for.
- Free sweets. Need I say more?
Imagine my disappointment when Finley said we couldn't go trick-or-treating. He promised he would buy me a bag of German sweets to make up for it before we leave for the Netherlands tomorrow. I'd rather a box of Maltesers instead.
And so, we spent our Halloween jumping from party to party, collecting wallets and purses along the way. If it weren't for all the pints of beer we drank and our shitty disguises, I'd question how we even got away with it.
Nevertheless,
thank you Germany,
you were fun.
