The sound of waves crashing filled the atmosphere as the five stood on the shore. Four being male and the one being female.
Now for some, it may seem unfair, but for Zale, this was child's play."It's all about finding your opponent's weak spot. Once you do, the rest is easy." She remembered those words her father had told her when she first started to handle a sword.
Looking at each and every one of her brothers with a glint of amusement in her eyes, she knew how easy and enjoyable this was going to be. She could easily point out each and everyone of their weaknesses at that moment, but she only focused on one.
Felix's stance wasn't proper which meant that when the fight broke out, he would be off balance for a bit, which is why Zale would go for him first. And she did exactly that, when the fight broke out she headed straight for Felix and swept him off his feet. He was down within seconds and a groan escaped his lips as his back made contact with the floor."OW!"
"Sorry Felix!" She said, as she dodged Lucas' continuous jabs at her. Taking quick notice of the hand he was using at that moment, she used her sword to do a twisting manuvure and fling his sword away from him.
"You were never really good with your right hand." She told him.
"You know I twisted my left a couple of days ago." He whined in defeat.
"Such a shame." She replied, quickly kicking him away and focusing on Alistair who lunged at her.
She simply stepped to the side and watched him fall into the water.
"Really Alistair, you and I both know that you could've done a lot better." She said with a pout.
"Do me a favor and shut the bloody hell up Zale." Alistair said dragging his wet self out of the water.
Having lost her focus for a moment as she stared at her moping brother, she didn't realize Theodore sneaking up behind her. She noticed it was too quiet, Zale turned around just as Theodore jabbed at her shoulder. The tip of his sword connected with the fabric of her blouse, ripping the shoulder open and cutting her skin slightly.
"Ow! Theo! This is my favorite blouse." She said, slightly touching her shoulder with her fingers and feeling the warmth of her blood on her finger tips.
"Sorry. I'll get you a new one right after I win." He replied slowly circling her.
Taking notice of the way his grip around his sword always tightened and loosened, a thought came to Zale's mind.
If I time it right, I can get the sword out of his hand.
She moved her hand away from her shoulder and gripped her sword tightly. Theodore's grip always loosened after every two seconds.
So in her head, Zale counted to three.1...tighten...2...3...loosen
At that moment, Zale kicked Theo's sword right out of his grasp and caught it in her free hand. Not knowing what had just happened to him, Theodore stood there with his eyes wide. She took this opportunity to kick him down and held both swords toward his neck.
"I think you mean 'I'll get you a new one after you win'" she mocked with a slight grin.
"But-" he began.
"Maybe instead of standing there like a blundering idiot after I knocked your sword out of your hand, you could have knocked me off my balance." She said handing him back his sword and helping him onto his feet.
"Bugger off."
She grinned and turned to see how her other brothers were doing.
"Are you three alright after I smashed you into the ground?" She asked.
