He is sitting in his luxurious car at the back seat (owner's corner). He wore a brown kaftan with a matching cap, he really is handsome especially his attractive looking pink lips. He is impatiently waiting for his driver (Aminu) to come in and drive him off. Aminu the driver suddenly came in apologising 'I am very sorry sir, I went to… Aminu didn't complete his sentence as Naufal snapped at him 'Shut up man! Just drive the car, I am already late because of you, and I promise you if I miss this meeting I will deal with you so much, change your looks and sack you.' Aminu upon hearing the words 'deal with you' and 'sack you' immediately started the car and took off straight to Naufal's international chemicals company that is located in Garki II Abuja.
'Nabila please be fast, let's go before my make-up starts wearing off.' Amira (Nabila's cousin) yelled. Nabila came out immediately from her room laughing at the sight of Amira's face 'All you care about is your ugly makeup right?' Nabila said, teasing Amira who is feeling herself. Amira playfully eyed Nabila saying 'I look better than you, just admit it, I know you are just jealous, I can see it in your eyes.' Umma (Nabila's mother) interrupted 'please you girls should stop blabbering, hurry up and get me these things at the supermarket' Umma said handing Amira a shopping list on a piece of paper and giving Nabila money for the shopping. Before the girls went out Nabila being a fan of taking pictures especially selfies took one selfie shot. And the girls went out of the house to find the driver (Buba) who will take them to Righteous super market that is located in life camp Abuja.
(Naufal)
'Sir, where am I going to drive you to next?' Aminu asked Naufal with his head low. Naufal, without looking at Aminu,eyes closed, replied 'You should drive me to Righteous supermarket at life camp.'
(Nabila)
'Amira, you should go to the foodstuffs side and pick them up, let me go to the snacks and drinks side' Nabila suggested. 'Okay Nabila' Amira replied as they pathed ways.
(Naufal's POV)
I love drinking 'Monster', it's my favourite drink, unfortunately I am out of it. So I have branched into one of the supermarkets in Life camp to buy it. Suddenly someone bumped into me and made my new iPhone 14 Pro max shatter into pieces on the cold tiles. I was very mad because I recently bought that phone just yesterday and I wasn't in the mood. I looked up to find a lady looking at me all frightened. She is just there standing like a statue staring at me instead of kneeling down, crying and begging me to spare her and apologising.
(Nabila's POV)
I was happy and smiling, I was in a good mood, carried away by my thoughts. Then suddenly I accidentally bumped into someone. I immediately raised my head to find a very young handsome man. He is just the perfect description of the type of man I want to be with forever. I stared at him as I saw his phone shatter into pieces on the floor. His face suddenly became scary. He looked like a horror actor at that stage. I tried to apologise but the words were stuck in my throat, my lips couldn't even move. I was just standing there like a statue staring at him and thinking of how to apologise.
After a series of silence between us, the three words finally came out of my mouth 'I am sorry' I finally said, what a relief I thought. I then raised my head to face the scary looking guy, still looking at me, probably filled up for wasting his time.
(Naufal's POV)
This good for nothing girl is probably stupid, after destroying my phone all she could say was just 'sorry'? She's supposed to be begging me and crying, for me to forgive her for what she did.
'Hey you stupid girl, is that how to apologise?' Naufal asked Nabila. 'What's the big deal, I didn't shatter your phone intentionally, it was accidental and I have apologised. I can pay double the price to compensate you and oh yeah, the last thing is, don't ever call me stupid again, okay?' Nabila said to Naufal.
Immediately Nabila finished talking, she turned back to walk away but someone held her back. It was Naufal. He held Nana's hand so tight, so that it would hurt her. 'Let go of me', Nabila said angrily, raising her voice at Naufal. 'Who the hell are you!?' Naufal shouted at Nabila which made not even Nabila alone but all the people around them scared too.
Now all eyes were on them. 'Who on Earth are you that you think you can raise your voice at me and talk to me any how you want without manners? Let me tell you one thing, even my mother talks to me with respect, so if my mom can do that, don't you dare talk to me like that ever again, for the rest of your life.'
Nabila's eyes were already filled with tears. She felt like crying. How could this arrogant man talk to her like that in public, he has disgraced her, she tried to talk back but didn't know what to say. Nabila made a promise to herself that no matter what she must take revenge on this arrogant rude man who humiliated her.
Naufal finally released Nabila's hand and turned around to walk, then he suddenly heard Nabila's voice saying 'I hate you MR-ARROGANT and I promise you, I will avenge this humiliation no matter what.' Nabila then walked away. Naufal just smiled and said 'hmmm we shall see, you don't know who you're messing with, I am Naufal the owner of Naufal's international chemical company and a Prince. I must teach you a lesson you will never forget.' Then he walked away too.
Nabila went straight and bought all the drinks and snacks she was to buy and called Amira to meet her at the payment counter. After some time they were done with the shopping. Buba dropped them home at Gwarinpa model city Abuja.
Naufal bought his monster drink and made his way back home (Maitama) with Aminu driving him.
