Eid day is finally here and all the Naffa's family woke up earlier than usual to finish their activities before time for Eid prayers. Nabila and Umma are in the kitchen with two other housemaids preparing different varieties of sallah food. Two other housemaids are tidying up the house. Abba is out to check on the Rams that are to be slaughtered after Eid prayers for the purpose of performing the Eid ritual tradition. Amira has gone back home to spend her sallah there and help Nenne with sallah preparations.
KATSINA'S STATE PALACE.
The palace is filled up with many people all preparing for Eid prayers. The people are dressed beautifully in their sallah clothes. The Aroma of different sallah food is all up in the air. At about 9:00am Eid sallah was observed at Katsina's Eid prayer place. After the Prayers the Sallah entertainers and the Royal members started passing by on their way to return to the palace on the road displaying their talents and entertaining people. Most of them rode on horseback and some walked on foot. Groups of different traditional dancers and singers passed by. The Royal title holders and people passing by each group were dressed uniformly. The King's male Grandchildren passed, then followed by the King's only son, Yarima Usman with his group he was dressed in the Royal cloth with turban (rawani) and alkyabba (throbe). After the prince passed then some group of men started shooting local guns in the air to send a signal that the King was coming (The King's group) tawagar Sarki followed suit. After he passed, local guns were shot in the air again to mark the end of the show.
KATSINA STATE - DUTSEN SAFE LOCUST (NAFFA'S FAMILY MANSION).
Today being the third day of sallah Nabila, Amira and Afifa are busy getting ready for the Sallah event they will be attending hosted by the 5As at Karkanda stadium Katsina. The ladies were looking stunning with their beautiful henna designed on their hands, legs and palms. The ladies snapped a couple of pictures, then went downstairs and took some shots with the family members, as the house is now full because of sallah. All Alhaji Naffa's children are present with their wives and children and some other relatives too.
The ladies informed Umma and Abba that they will be going out. Both parents gave them money for barka da sallah (Happy Sallah) and Abba instructed them to go with the securities (Soldiers) for their safety and that the driver should drive them. The ladies thanked them and rode off in Nabila's new car - Mazda CX-5 with the soldiers following them in their military hilux car. On reaching there, the ladies bought the VVIP tickets for the three of them and VIP tickets for the securities and driver. And as it is, the three ladies became the centre of attraction (lol). With their securities guiding them.
KATSINA STATE PALACE.
Naufal and Fahad are seated in Naufal's living room gisting. 'I am really bored man, isn't there anything exciting going on or somewhere to visit?' Naufal asked Fahad. 'Yes there is, my cousin Amar even invited us and said he would be so glad if we get to make it to the event' Fahad answered. 'I hope it isn't some sort of boring childish event filled with poor village church rats?' Naufal asked. 'No it isn't,' answered Fahad. 'Well let's get going,' Naufal said standing up. They were already set and fit to go and they really look amazing. So Mr Arrogant called his personal bodyguard (Habib) and told him to arrange cars and to inform his security that they will be going out now. Naufal and Fahad went out of the chamber after some minutes and met cars parked with Naufal's securities inside. Well except for one car (Maserati Alfieri) which is meant for Naufal and Fahad.
KARKANDA STADIUM KATSINA
Nabila, Amira, Afifa and two of Afifa's cousins (Jamila and Sumayya) are seated under the VVIP canopy gisting. The canopy is secured by the soldiers who accompanied Nabila, Afifa and Amira. The soldiers are standing with their guns held firmly. As the ladies were gisting 5 young men came and sat close to each lady. They introduce themselves as Asif, Aman, Aaban, Amar and Abeer. They said they are the 5As that hosted the event and asked the ladies whether they are enjoying the event. The ten of them continued gisting randomly. Asif exchanged phone contact with Nabila and so also the other men did the same to the other ladies. ' I am really thirsty, I need to take some water right now,' ' Nabila said. 'There is a stall there, let me get you the water,' Asif said, preparing to stand up. 'No just leave it, I will get it myself' Nabila said, standing up and picking up her side bag from the table that was in front of them. Immediately she stood up and started walking towards the stall direction the soldiers followed her. She halted and looked back at them and said please they should go back she will be fine on her own. The head among them pleaded with her that they are just following orders given to them by her father. He then ordered some of them to go back. Nabila just shook her head, rolled her eyes and continued talking, muttering something about privacy and freedom under her breath. As they reached the stall Nabila gasped and stood there in surprise. She was very surprised to see the person running the stall, it was her classmate Bilkisu-Billy who hated her and her Bestie Afifa back then at secondary school. Bily then used to be a young teenage girl that is jealous of Nabila and doesn't like seeing people progressing other than herself. Bily used to be so bossy and proud of how rich they were. However Nabila heard from Afifa that Billy's Parents have long since died in the village, it was Billy's Uncle that took hold of her, but she was ungrateful to him and has been a hypocrite in his house. The Uncle later died and that was when Billy was left with no one to cater for her needs, she struggled day and night to live since then.
